In the beginning of the game make sure to get 'perfect' for at least day 1 and 2 but making it to day 4 gets you a medal. You can quit to main menu when you lose health and restart the round. Make sure to spend your money on a bigger house first off then focus on everything else. Hope I helped.

@astrojacker - You kinda have to rely on henchman alot at some points, mostly due to the waves of enemies and the fact that you can't really keep healing/attacking items in constant stock due to either lack of money, or never seeing them in the shop. And with skill focusing, you can't always focus on the same thing each time for a while until you can look at more than 3 skills at a time

When you're making a new character, the first couple days are crucial. it's when you establish your team build. You want to start upgrading your tower's defenses (wall, repairmen), but also start off getting as much xp as possible (trainers). You need to focus your skills for the long term, (literally, pick a good skill and focus it), so that you aren't getting screwed in the later days and struggling to survive each time. You don't want to be reliant on a henchman or prayers, trust me. Once you start relying on them, you lose the benefits of AP and eventually get overwhelmed by enemies quickly

The game was pretty addictive at first, but then when you're on your 14th day for the 10th time, you reaaaally hate the fact that swarms of flying enemies decide to attack at the last second right before the day ends, you tend to think a bit less of it

This is rediculous... Im a huge fan of this game but it keeps deleting my games. ive done over 200 days and they always get deleted... even after i tell it to use unlimited data storage if it wants....

I can't get over how fun this game is. I've made so many different characters on it. You really should make a sequel though. it's been years

Bump. I've been fan of this game for 2 years, and i dont understand why there's no sequel ;(
I mean, whoever made this thing could make himself millions selling a sequel.

so I've found a Ragnarok and was wondering what does it do. I used it, then came like 50 winged dragons appeared in front of my castle. Each of them with pulsing energy beam in their mouth. I was like, Awesome! these dragons going to blast all the monsters. 1 second latter, it was "Game Over" WTF!!!

A tip for getting slightly better bonuses and recruits: If you save your game then refresh recruits, rob the museum, have dinner, collect eggs and pretty much any other AP consuming actions and get a result you might think isn't good enough, you can use "Return to Title" then continue your previously saved game to do the same action again to get a different result! This is a great trick to keep your exp bonus from having dinner from being low because of it's randomness, or getting that specific recruit role with best possible stats. Apparently it doesn't work for "Go searching". + this if you found it useful.

I have no idea what fame does, but it does'nt affect when you can claim a title. Titles can be claimed after you've a certain amount of days. The first one you get after 10 days.

I think they removed that ragnarok trick a few updates ago, it's actually easy to get that trophy as a hunter, or any class that can obtain the skill "Bow master" with 10 additional hits per bolt/arrow it's an easy way to clear a crowd

chrissgoalie, I believe fame allows you to claim a title which increases the amount of gold you get paid at the end of each day.

Actually, vesperbot, if you can time it JUST right, you COULD try to use it right before the day ends. I've done that before and gotten the medal for it.

allendroid, yes, if you have just used Ragnarok sword. Its name means "end of the world's battle", so in case you are ready to pwn that many dragons, use it, otherwise you'd better sell it at once.

@Kamikazelegacy. Funny how many people mention that. Or the tanks. However, guns and castles have co-existed historically. Surely there are much greater mysteries here: How can a sheep headbutting a wall damage it? Or a chicken throwing eggs? Or a dragonfly flying past? And why do rats feel the need to parachute from pterodactyls? And I seem to have an inexhaustible supply of sisters! Curiously these ones dont get mentioned so much, lol!

If they make a second one, I think a good addition would be to be able to choose which enemies for my allies to prefer. For example, I have a regular pistol, and am trying to get as many head shots as possible. Mice take 1 hit for a head shot, with the pistol, but my allies keep killing them. I want to be able to tell my allies to shoot at all enemies, but to shoot at, say archers, first.

I just learned something, not the least bit interesting. I had thought that the game ended on day 1002, because that's as far as it let me go, but it would seem the reason it did that was because one of my allies (level 4,936) ran out of skills to learn. You can go on and on, replacing your allies until your character reaches that ridiculously high level. Ah, useless info.
