Ok, figured out lvl 9 then ground on it for a while to upgrade my so called Hero's. Got To lvl 15 with relative ease and wiped out the Cataclysm dragon and 'unlocked the hardcore lvls' by using only my highest rated characters: Bea, Seolm, and split the rest entirely with archer and druid apprentices, mainly because archer 'units' have 770HP which is about twice the HP as all my hero's except for Bea who's now at 1027HP.

Gotta agree with pretty much every comment listed. Lvl 9 and on just become less worthwhile, kinda like hittin a dead-end. You need to have a pretty kick-ass game to convince me to grind the beginning levels in order to progress to the higher lvls. This game, well...I'm not feelin it. I might try a few more times, I dunno. Game over can be quite a slap in the face after investing a couple hrs into something. What's worse are those idiot developers that post a gloat at the end such as 'you loser' or 'you call yourself a soldier' B.S. Everybody knows where they can shove that sucky attitude! =)

Had no problem with the reset skills functionality. I was able to get past map 6 with the mage skilled for fire, using spells to reduce resists, and teleport to get a second chance at the final few creeps.

The simple way to defeat level 6(The scar) in HARDCORE!!! -- the best hero for this mission should be Arc, but i guess mage also should be ok(no test).Whatever. the key point is , you should keep using the magic METEOR SHOWER, it only cost 50mp and could effectivly stun the enmies.If it is useful+

Hint for the scar hardcore: take the necro with chaos bolt (better than apocalypse), use nova to slow, and teleport to the right towards the end.

this game would be fairly awesome if the later leveling was slightly faster (right now it's SO grindy, I'm just repeating Stonehenge for a while now... on my fourteenth straight repetition) and a slightly higher level cap. Right now, it's tough to get a single ability to optimum, much less giving a hero two "modes" to operate in. The apprentices can switch modes better than the heroes. Also, maybe better descriptions of the spells? The Mage and Necromancer both have spells that say they damage everything in range, and don't even remotely do so. Most of them only very rarely hit two targets, even if there are six in range.

Decent game. Any skill reset locks the game up for a bit. Now I don't have a top of the line comp, but it may be better then some here who are completely crashing. Mine simpley goes unresponsive for a min or so and then plays again fine.//////////////// Any1 having issues with the initial lvling of the druid, he is a healer. Stick him in behind a week tower and he will heal it to lvl up.

yeah so my save file went *poof*..even the sword.shield icon disappeared.. only the one on the right that says "new game" shows up and is clickable..don't wanna restart again so..no thank you..

Necromancer skill Elemental Suppression is not working right. I turn it on, it fires once, and then stops firing completely as creeps pass by.

Er. Premature post. Upon refreshing and loading my profile, the mage IS reset. However, clicking the reset button for him causes it to jam up again.

this game is such bull shit all my hero are past level 30 and i cannot get past level 10 like im just overrun by enemies and my heros die so god damn fast this game suck 2/5!

4/5. fun except that if you place your towers anywhere besides the front then your level gets destroyed and you lose. So in other words ONLY the front part of the track is useful, the rest might as well not even be there!

Artwork and music are very good. Some nice gameplay ideas, too. What I don't like is the repititiveness of the levels. There are no challenges for the playing strategy. This and the fact that even fast speed is way to slow make it imho more fun to watch a hard drive defrag than play another level of Heroes of Mangara.

Update: Charge up your shield on your mage, also put a druid apprentice by him. Sorry for double-posting. Beware the elements and Golems! Add some ice power for the fire golems.

@Payneinsane: You have to click the question mark by the back button. To the left, I think.
@Bionicle13: Did you try to use the spell-book to stun it, and use other attacking spells as well? For a stunning spell, use the meteor Earth spell, or the Storm Air spell. Fear is Awesome, use it and Acidic cloud. Also, you might want to max your Magician's fire abilities as best you can. +1 if it's good advice please. I'm on that level myself, and I'm almost killing it, even though my highest level character is only level 35.

I found that wonderful reset skills crash, and now I can't even get to the starting page without crashing. I also get 100% CPU usage. At any rate, the game needs quite a bit of polish, some of the ideas are good but overall it doesn't feel right to me. Once the basics are fixed (stop crashing) I'm sure the rest of the kinks can be worked out.

i reset my archers skills and suddenly the game froze my browser, i reset and reloaded, as well as closed my browser but the game takes forever to load and constantly freezes. firefox 4.0.1 winxp pro 3gb ram
