Finished day 10 and not really interested in continuing. It doesn't hold my attention.
That being said, it is fun in small doses so I will probably revisit it later. Thanks for the distraction.

Cool concept! I like the idea, but it doesn't do anything new as far as a "defend the base" style game goes. It needs to be more epic. I want to see a wave of 800 of the smallest soldiers. Boss waves would be cool as well: huge tanks that take up half the screen or something. A mobile tesla coil you have to defeat. Upgrades like placeable "Tesla mines" would be cool. An upgrade to increase the damage dealt by the chain lightning, and an upgrade to increase the distance the lightning jumps. Upgrade to buy a support tower that targets air units. Upgrades to build reactors to increase regeneration time, but they cost Fuel, which gets more expensive as times goes by (you're being blockaded, right?). Random boosts: unlimited lightning for 5 seconds, score multipliers, etc. Basically, it needs more of everything and a few unique twists in order to get more than a solid "Meh." At least it's short.

had no problems finishing the whole game with the upgrades provided, true that recharge rate might be appreciated but not needed, maybe recharging electricity to full after everyday might be a better idea? Apart from that great game just that chain lightning should bounce from air units to ground units and vice versa, spent a whole lot of money on chain lightning early game only to realize it's not as useful as i thought it'd be :D

Died day 20 with all the upgrades and 22660 money. Needs recharge upgrade, secondary tower fire rate upgrade, chain lightning arc extension upgrade (chains jump farther), in-level repair option, maybe a repeater so ground and air can arc together in chains. Oh! and basic damage upgrade, not just capacity.

@omega It would've been nice to know that before hand though so I understand why people would rate it down just for lack of information. I rate it low because it /actually/ took me 6 minutes to beat it. 4 to get all the upgrades max. It definitely has potential, but... It's quite a way away.

it has the makes of a good game just wish u could either start with full bar of power each level or at least be able to increase energy recharge

The good: Interesting art style and electrocuting my enemies is always a plus.
The bad: Too short. Too easy. Too few upgrades.

Awsome, make a second with more of everything. Maby multiple towers? Tesla Barrier? Energy field that drains some health from enemies as they advance. Just some ideas.

ok everyone just to prevent you from rating down this game for no reason
there actually IS a pause menu
just tap the esc button on your keyboard and there it is
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wow this looks like fun! 5 stars!... This is all the upgrades? (changes to 4 stars) Pause.. pause.. menu?
...
2 stars...

Game was very short. Fun while i played but I was fully upgraded at day 16. Then what? So some new upgrades, more enemy types, and more to play would be awesome. Maybe a tesla version 2 is in order? That would be nice. Oh also an upgrade to increase power would be nice.

cant pass day one...once upgrade screen comes up game is done...not able to click any upgrades or even the next button...fix plz

Sorry to say this, but this game is severely flawed. With no upgrade to the radius of the death ray, you have to use pinpoint accuracy on most enemies rather than being able to defeat them more easily. With no upgrade to damage or recharge rate, you're stuck doing the same thing, consistently, until it gets completely boring. And with such limited upgrades, I got the 7-chain lightning upgrade at level 12. I lost interest around level 17, and even then, such an upgrade was still useless as there were no groups of enemies larger than two or three. ALSO. When the lightning chains, you need to be able to see chained enemies' health as well as have them SLOW DOWN so it's actually chaining lightning and not just damaging them. 3/5

The game is ok total, but there seems to be no challenge other than to aim... A little more strategy to it would be nice.

3/5
great game and concept. seen a lot though but still fun. add more levels and upgrades like more mini teslas and faster recharge rates. also, at the end of the game, I can't do anything.

NSBrotherhood, THINK BIGGER. lol. Damage upgrades, maybe different mini towers that shot a variety of things like a radius of effect EMP like attack, More enemies at once (if other upgrades are added), and more upgrades to the ones already there.
One thing that isn't as important but would be nice....CHANGE THE CURSOR. I got tired of looking at my little white arrow, it was distracting and boring. 4/5 though. Good game.

day 20.... m0ar upgrades!!!!
Suggestions:
-increased damage
-quicker enregy regen
-killing enemies gives you health/energy
-a one time use bomb that wipes all enemies on screen
-a couple different slots in which to place mini coils
-3 or 4 different types of mini coils (like ones for maximum damage, stopping power, and range for example)
-gradual health regeneration (call it like construction bots or something)
-protective shield used at the cost of energy
Overall a very fun game just way too short
also day 20 seemed way too dificult. Up until that day after i fully upgraded at 14 or 15 ish i hadn't taken any damage or had a serious threat but then all of a sudden i died midway through 20
also the giant turret things only get damaged when i click the exact center of them

As an extension to my comment, I'm sitting at the end of the game with $21k - more than enough to buy any one upgrade, and I could buy several of the upgrades for that amount. This is after buying all upgrades and full health before the final wave. This clearly demonstrates that there is much more money available during a run-through of the game than can be used. Give players something to do with that money!

Good start, but not enough depth to make a good game of this genre. You need MANY more upgrade levels and more upgrades; possibly power-ups, which would let players handle eletro-stall; enough enemy density to make the chain lightning upgrade seem more useful (possibly increase its range?); and an endless mode (via procedural generation of waves).

Clicking rapidly instead of holding down the mouse button completely glitched out the game for me. The first time I tried clicking instead of holding, the electrical buzz sound got stuck playing dozens of times a second and stayed that way for the rest of the game. Later I tried again, and suddenly the coil wouldn't turn off, and rapidly drained it's energy. I pressed keys randomly trying to pause, and somehow the pause screen came up, but the game continued playing anyway. Then nothing I did would turn the pause screen *off*. Survived the wave anyway, shop comes up, stuff continues to happen, and I can't get anything back to normal, so I give up.
I'm actually not complaining. I just want to share this in the hopes that someone else will find that mental image: Every screen of a glitched out flash game piled on top of one another while the game continues playing behind them amidst a cacophony of electric buzzing and lightning arcing across the screen, as inexplicably amusing as I do.

I just thought why does the Tesla tower drains too fast electric power while the world depicted on the game is almost futuristic? Doesn't mankind found out any other ways to upgrade the Tesla power consumption or power source thinking that Tesla is invented long before those robots and those UFO (OMG!) (I'm sure they must have upgraded it very smartly....)

How dare you question me! I am Nicholas Tesla! I am not a madman! You cannot stop me! Fine, then you shall all Perish under my super-conductive Tesla Coil! I will fry your puny tanks and planes until they are nothing but Ash!
