It is not difficult, the hosts file is in the system32 folder, do a search for it and edit it in notepad.

Everyone who comes here looking for a botd should submit a screenshot of it being broken via the report missing achievement link on the achievements tab, if they get enough they might clock that something's wrong with the way they assign botd and actually sort it out.

Notice: you are in no way obligated to obtain this badge. If you don't want to bother with the fix, don't bother with the fix and move on.
And I'm fairly certain the BotD is chosen randomly, so complaining that Kong didn't test it beforehand is pointless, since Kong never tests their BotD games.

fail botd huh. though for those that give up at askon's solution due to "complexity" shouldn't have. it is a simple open notepad-open file-insert text solution.

Replace the badge of the day, and take badges that are no longer obtainable off rotation. (...please i guess? Would have thought they would not have been included in the first place, but...)

It's simplicity is so avant garde. It's silence spellbinding. The stark white screen just drags you in and doesn't let go. I have never seen a game quite like this on Kong before.

I'm disappointed with Kong's decision to make this a BoTD. I got the badge after following the steps in askon's comment (in the "BEST" section above). But, these were extra steps that nobody should be expected to perform for a measly 5 points.

How ridiculous.. this is the Badge of the Day, and the bloody thing hasnt been loading for over a year? Whos brilliant idea was it to have this as the Badge of the Day?
I shouldnt have to follow a complex process just to get the thing to run, so having looked at the comment from askon (sept 22 2012), i wont be bothering.
Again, why have this as BofTD?

Two days in a row that the Badge of the Day can't truly be earned without going through more work than it would take to earn the badge if it was working properly. Is it... Is my calender off? Is this April and I just missed a few months?

My Missing Badge Report to Kong:
The game does not load. At all. I'm not even pretending I've completed it but I'd like the badges please. The hard one as well [Amazing Maze Master]. You might as well make that one "impossible" whilst you're at it as the game doesn't load.
I've attached a screen shot so that you can see that I haven't played the game and it is impossible for me to do so.
I strongly suggest that you read the comments I have highlighted in the screen shot, and that in future you check whether a game works or not before making it badge of the day. That is a 2 minute job. Not doing so makes whoever takes the decision look incredibly incompetent. If you want any other sloppy and lazy people to be in charge of your website I am ready and available for hire.

yeah ok no. There's no way that I'm gonna go and edit my hosts file just for that, no matter how great of a game it supposedly is. Why would you even put a BotD on a broken game?
