Unfortunately, the directions on how to make the game playable are completely useless on Windows 8. This is not a good thing for a badge of the day.

I shouldnt have to edit host files for the badge of the day, check the games before you make them game of the day, if it doesnt work like this one then just drop it from Kong dont promote it

maybe they did not realize it was not working when they selected it for botd it won't work for me either but never mind there is alwys other badges to get

omg.... who in the name of kong.... is responsible for making the badge of the day.... on a NOT working game.... this is not the first time this hapend. please think before selecting a game thank you.... for the love of kong!

Hey, Kongregate. If there's a game that has a known bug that makes the game difficult to play from the very beginning, maybe don't give the developers the boost in traffic by making the game badge of the day.

geez, there are people that are still willing to exert a little effort to get the botd and enjoy the game. if you're too lazy to do the simple solution then at least stop being so butthurt that you down-vote those that confirm the solution and give hope to others. just voice your complaint ang leave!

I'm not using a "work around" to get the game to work. If it doesn't work natively on Kong, it shouldn't be the badge of the day, or a badge at all.

JUST EASY WAY TO GET IT TO WORK:
Go to your RUN > notepad c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Add the last Line > 216.104.46.66 www.gimme5games.com
Try Refresh Now, worked for me :)

In the future, when choosing a Badge of the Day, please make sure the game actually works. It's tough to earn a badge when the game doesn't even open.

Negative 5 stars. That a game that requires you to hack your system files to work could be a badge of the day game is ridiculous.

Badges of the day are chosen randomly and automatically, there's no human involved in choosing it. You think there's a person waiting to XX:00 hour EACH DAY to select a specific game's badge to set it BotD? Only challenges and quests are made by hand, stop blaming Kong instead the developers.

So... Kongregate currently has the game of the day set to a game where you literally have to go and change browser data in order to play? Bad form. Very bad form.
