Phew, got all badges. It's kinda boring to get 35 levels with expert. Just upgrade the first four things and the upgrades for bombs. Build a super tower hat the end, send all waves at ones and then spam little bombs as hell >.< 2/5

Boring, unoriginal, boring, repetitive, boring, unoriginal, boring , unoriginal and as repetitive as this comment. If I could 0 stars, I would. Horrible game, absolutely horrible. Did I mention it's boring?

The game doesn't scale well. Later waves become unbelievably boring. It takes forever to get the upgrade points to open everything up. And the later waves are no harder than the first -- just longer. Top it off with making N next wave instead of the unused space bar and this game falls far short of fun.

For those trying to get Send Now!, you might find getting expert on level 36 easier than getting expert on 35. The course is longer and has more bends.

@nogard: you have to fully upgrade everything that has to do with bombs in the upgrades menu for bombs to be useful at all.

When a tower defense can be mastered by use of no towers whatsoever near endgame, it stops being a tower defense. I understand that you wanted to make bombs a viable weapon late game, but they can completely dominate any map when used properly. Thus the lack of towers and 'tower defense'.

just another generic tower defense game, if you want to make a good TD then you need something new like what gemcraft did but this game is the standard boring TD so 3/5. at least they didn't ruin it completely like some TDs manage to do.

I agree with throne Zwei. The best strategy I found was sending all the enemies at once. Once you have upgraded your turrets a bit this becomes easier. make sure to start with a super tower.

this game has low money rate,no option over turret, and horrid graphics...id rather play a gameboy game from the 90's than this......1/5!!!!!!! BORING!!!

the perfect technique xD, you can get MAX score (no kidding) in any level, first full upgraded obvious, second, at the satr of the level, build a super tower near your "house", then send ALL the waves, the faster the better, so theyre so closed in togheter, there so many, a bomb will hit all of them :P!!, so crush them with bombs, and the killed tanks give you money, you won´t pass final levels with only bombs, so you need to upgrade your super tower to level 4 (not max, only 4) and the rest of the money use it in bombs, que nearly max score on every level (you can beat me just sending the waves earlier than me, or cheating ¬¬)

@drvn2conquer: While it is true that a level 2 super tower is not as cost effective as a level 1, this is not a general problem. Using fully upgraded stats, (it doesn't matter), you get a Damage * ROF / Cost ratio of: 3.2 for L1, 2.7 for L2, 3.2 for L3, 3.84 for L4 and 5.02 for L5. Thus, it is only better to not upgrade if you are only going to level 2, if you are on track to level 3+ then upgrade away. Not to mention that many maps give one or two really good spots that themselves improve the effectiveness of a single tower.

drvn2conquer you are correct my math logic was incorrect. 54/160 would be the equivalent of 4 super towers. I haven't worked out the percentage but as you go up in upgrade levels the difference becomes greater. The only benefit up upgrading is when you run out of strategic area to put a new tower.

A mediocre example of the genre. Nothing to elevate it near Gemcraft or even Balloons TD 4. Also nothing to mark it down with the worst of the genre.

On the subject of spelling, "defense" is the recognized American English spelling. "Defence" is the recognized British English spelling. Really comes down to personal preference, and I think I vary at times.

A pretty nice game that i saw so far. I just can't play it that long since i'm so bored of TD genres. Lots of grinding too. 3/5

ug this is boring. I think the gemcraft and protector games pretty much used up what potential this genre has to offer. 2/5

xiggie your "math" is wrong. 2 27/80 towers is not like 1 54/160 tower. It is like 1 27/160 tower. You dont double rate and damage. Upgraded damage/$ = (54*90)/2200 ~ 2.2 and nonupgraded damage/$ = (27*160)/1650 ~ 2.6. So yes it is more cost effective to make nonupgraded towers (by about 18%)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this is such a slow game, all you have to do to beat a level is set up one super tower and upgrade it then walk away for like 25 mins

To those who disagree about upgrading being a waste unless you are running out of room let me offer a little math. My tower prices is upgraded to 9 and dmg is upgraded to 8. I am only using super tower in this example but the others apply as well. It is really very simple math. Cost of a super tower = $825, and that yields 27 dmg at 80 speed, (27/80). Cost to upgrade -$1375, yields +27/+10. Just make a new one. With a new one at less cost you are getting another tower pumping out another hit. It is as if the upgrade costs $825 again and yields 27/80. Looking at cost for end result again for 1 tower upgraded once(a) versus 2 towers(b). A= $2200, yields 54/90. B=$1650, yields 2(27/80) or 54/160.
I have tried both ways, with equal dollars spent I always come out on top with putting out as many supers as possible and only upgrading when I run out of useful room.
