There should be both gold, silver and bronze achievement levels-with perks for each. Just going for "Expert" is a sort of partial achievement.

Most of these levels can be beat with just using two towers. A poison tower at the beginning, and an upgraded rapid fire cannon at the end.

wow i followed the instructions of askon when i was stuck at lvl 19 and after that i won lvls like lvl 30 with perfect rank from first try, bless you askon!!

the best dps per dollar is super tower level 1 (1,6 dps per dollar), second is basic tower level 4 (1,04 dps per dollar)

shame it wasn't just a abit faster. Even on x3 speed I find it slow...I suppose as long as you have a movie to watch or something while you play this game it's all good. Good game to play as long as you have something else to distract and entertain you.

Under rating threshold (hideshow) Getting Expert on missions is simple, if you pretend this isn't a tower defense game. Max out all bomb upgrades, starting cash and money per kill. Place a _single_ super tower towards the end of the map (not near where you will bomb, but after it), hold "N" down to summon all waves instantly and bomb the heck out of them. Pick a corner when as many of the tanks as possible are under the bomb. Keep upgrading the super tower till it's maxed! You can hold shift and just keep clicking to keep bombing. The correct clicking speed is where you have a stream of tanks that survive the bomb area, but singly, not overlapping. If you have too few surviving slow down, if too many overlap speed up. I think it's the only way to Expert the higher levels and it's pretty lame if you ask me. Keep this comment alive!

To improve this game (or to improve the mechanics for a sequel) I would either make the game shorter (not so many levels, not so many waves), add content (towers, upgrades, etc) that makes the game more enjoyable and less repetitive, or perhaps both. The balance with the towers needs to be fixed so that the other towers are not only useful but at least occasionally necessary. The game needs to be more difficult (perhaps fixing the tower balance would create situations in which different strategies are needed, which would help with this). I'd also love to see the in game achievements do something other than look pretty. Various things could be nice: upgrade point bonuses; damage, rate, or range bonuses; lives bonuses; or to unlock better towers or higher upgrade levels of towers.

Overall, the game is enjoyable, but it has some serious flaws that prevent me from saying it is good. On the up side, it is a simple TD game that allows for upgrades, which is a big plus in my book. On the downside, the game is LONG and SLOW. You do the same thing level after level as you wait for wave after wave to pass by. No new towers or upgrades are available. It is somewhat satisfying to get more upgrades, but the highest levels cost so much that they are rare. The biggest problem with the game is the difficultly level. Just place your towers wisely and spend your money as the waves progress and every level will be a breeze. In fact, the hardest part about this game is trying to be patient. I had to replay levels many times because I sent the waves too quickly and overloaded my towers. Another major problem is the balance with the towers. I bought only basic towers and then only super towers. The other 4 towers are all but useless. They are never NEEDED, so why bother?

Great game... I'm sorry... But certain RPG's have made me like grinding... So sue me... I really enjoyed this game... :D

General, sir the enemy is sending in their entire army of tanks to destroy us! Shouldn't we call in the navy and air-force to assist us? NO, we shall show our superiority to the enemy by only using our bombs and turrets. Isn't that strategically wasteful sir? No, its epic!

Better way to get expert. You only need to upgrade cash, cost, kill cash, and damage. Build only super towers. Hit N 5 times, wait for the bonus for next wave to drop to +100, hit N 5 times again. Keep repeating and keep building more super towers. Works for me every time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When you upgrade starting cash and gun cost enough that you can start out with a super tower the easiest way to get all of the badges is to go back and get expert scores on easier levels, because expert doubles your skill points, so you get almost as many skill points as later levels a lot faster and easier

Isn't the idea of more expensive towers that they're more POWERFUL? Everything but the super tower is a waste of money.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Key to getting expert on each lvl, is too place some supertowers at the back. then using the little bomb. (50 gold), each hit., instead of the 1000g one.
by holding shift, u can spam that fast enough, while keeping the gold up.
the supertowers (mixed with frost towers), get rid of the loners that slips through.
(used this to lvl 35 to get the achivement, before quitting ^^ )
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When you pass all levels it's too boring to get all achivements... You can do it but you don't want, because it's too easy, boring...

The first-rated comment is correct. I insisted treating this game as a TD game and upgraded tower stuff, but then I have difficulty experting the 28th level.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I personally don't see why some of you people don't think that TD games aren't strategy based and bash them like you do. Sure, it helps if you just buy a crap load of towers and put them on the map, but then the stronger enemies get past. That's where upgrading comes in, and deciding what to upgrade, what to buy, where to place it, etc., all the while managing your resources. If you think about it, that's what 'strategy' basically means. There's just many different types of it, such as MnB2. Oh, and ChickenBoogey, the whole pausing thing's a good feature, in my opinion at least.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What a perfect example of the terrible genre of tower defense. No strategy other than "cram a ton of towers on the map." Ugly sounds and graphics. Intense upgrade point farming and tedium. Hilariously, the game pauses when you go off-screen, as if it's THAT DESPERATE FOR ATTENTION. This game is awful.

Really annoying game, too much grind for it to be any real fun and too little content to keep me going. Many menu issues as well, having to go to the mission screen and select a mission after every map gets really old really fast (unless you want to do the newest mission which doesn't help because I need to grind up my skills to beat it on expert). Also I'd advise having someone proof read your game before you release it as there are dozens of spelling errors which could be easily avoided using Microsoft word or any other text editor. 2/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There should definately be a reset skills button or something, because now i want to use the bombs and i have no way of getting stronger upgrades for bombs. It takes me a long time to do this since my first ups are almost maxed....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
God **** this game i would've beat level 35 on expert but there's the glitch where my bombs do no damage to the enemies and that's why i lost. 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game sure is boring. There's almost no variety in enemies (no very fast but weak, armored, stealth, etc. that you usually see in other TD that somehow force you to adapt your strategy). There's only 6 towers and only 2 are really useful (basic and super), I've simply never used the others except to test them, too expensive and not efficient enough. Past level 10, the number of waves and the general slowness of the game become really boring and repetitive. The game in itself is well done, but apart from the badges, there's no incentive to keep playing. You've finished the first 10 levels, you've seen everything.

it would have been nice to have a bulldoze option, or let your bombs destroy obstacles like trees or unwanted buildings.

hey for the starters who play just get lots of stuf on the first spot so they cant even get to the middle it is so easy have fun hope this helps click plus if did yay ;)
