When I try to do the "Buttons.... on your keyboard" section, when I put the code in, it comes up with the error: Mouse events are permitted only for button instances

I had a quick skim through the tutorial, mostly looking at the platformer and I think it's pretty damn good, I ill of course read it more thoroughly (I am not at my house so no Flash) in a couple of hours. Great work! 5/5

Thanks for the comments. @ Enkuro, I am actually learning Java... not AS3. I am not really making AS2 games anymore. @ uberpenguin, look if you have a negative opinion about this tutorial then fine. But DON'T use insults consisting of "Special Ed kids"... also, the examples are fine and some people may find this helpful. I don't mind constructive criticism but please, say it in a way which doesn't insult other people and could tell me how to make it better. Thanks. ~Omazing

Lol, this is like a dumb kid in sped classes trying to write a math book. Not only does the whole thing look pretty bad in general, the little platformer examples you gave were glitched, and this is such a short, undetailed, unhelpful little thing that anyone who was actually looking for a tutorial like this would be better served looking for some place online with an actual quality tutorial. Then again, come to think of it I don't know why the hell you would put a basic little flash tutorial on a game site where no one is going to look or care, and those who do would want a lot better, more complete info than this.
