Getting all gold was hard, just because in the later levels, it looks like shapes and it was hard for to tell where the corners were.

mortosthegodly: true, but the computer proof can be replicated. Besides, we can demonstrate (not prove) it to our satisfaction simply by *trying* to construct one that would need more than 4 colours.

I like it. Good and simple, but with enough thinking required to take up some time. The best thing? You can make any old shape, throw in some random lines and suchlike, and you know it'll be possible with only four colours.

Fun concept, I would have liked a reset button. Also, in some of the later levels I felt like what counted as 'touching' was a little fuzzy which discouraged me from continuing.

This is why math is useful, kids. Mathematically, if you alternate colors, four can cover any shape you design, because you cant have five shapes sharing an edge.

a bit too easy =/ random guessing gets through 90% of the levels. The ones it doesn't just have to have a couple pieces swapped and its there. Nice idea though.

Level 14 is quite easy as long as you keep everything in rotational symmetry. First all the outside corners blue, then work your way to the centre, which should also be blue. The rest from there it quite simple to put together :)

The four color theorem states that any map can be colored with at most four colors. So if you're stuck on a level, it's you, not the game.

I don't know if it's an issue with my current Java and/or Flash updates, but for some odd reason(s) I finish level 15 in 3 colors and about 15 seconds and for some reason I cannot continue any further to the 16+ levels shown!?! I thought they were available since a long time ago I played this on another site (I believe not doppler) and I was able to go past level 15 and I have found walkthroughs that let you go past if you finish in 3 colors! Any idea(s) as to what's wrong!?! This happens to me in Google Chrome, Firefox and IE! I have all my cache's, cookies, etc. cleared and on any switchhing of browsers, filters, etc. and even resetting the game and trying from scratch it doesn't let me go past 15 on here. I found it on not doppler and it works there fine! :(!

I loveee this gave but.. is there a glitch ? i can't pass 13.. even though i've calculated NONE of the colours overlap.. wtf.

If you're having trouble, start with blue and color as many as possible, then green and so forth. Sorry if this is a re-post.

i remebr in school there was this paper wiht an image liek this and you could only use if im right 4 colors no color may touch itself i remebr throwing some of the papers away cause they were wrong
