This was fun! I actually liked the patterns fine, but wished the colors available were either more complementary, or more contrasting... the effect of putting more than two colors in any of the patterns wasn't very aesthetically pleasing, to my eye. Loved that soothing, jazzy music, though! Awarding an easy badge for achieving gold-star solutions to every level would help more players discover this sweet little game...

Took me back to my "Graph Coloring" days in discrete mathematics. Nice done though very easy. This game could easily be elaborated to have a harder mode where coloring the graph is difficult to do and even more difficult to do with less than the maximum colors.

@Christonight:
Adding more colours would make it easier. Every map you draw like this can be coloured in the required way with 4 or less colours. Wikipedia "four colour theorem" if you dont believe me =)

This is too hard for us colourblind people, the orange and green are very similar to me. Can you set it so there are options to change the four colours to?

need a clear/reset button for levels. when i put the wrong color, i had to click on the arrow to the previous level, and back again to the last one. a reset button would be nice.

It is famous mathematical task about colouring maps in such way with such rules. 4 colours is enough to solve it. So do it!

I noticed that it helped to start with an area that would require using three colors and then just go from there and fill in the color that doesn't match a surrounding color.

Great game! Only thing I would change is a slightly longer pause when you complete a level. I kept going back a level to see "did I get a gold on that?"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is so buggy for me. level 10 won't complete when I finish it, and I can't figure out why. I also can't get the gold star for number 6 even though I only used 3 colors. I don't get it. I think I also had one level that only completed, when I changed out one color for another. Seriously.

\/ Even if many people disagree (because many people aren't color blind) I think that would be a great addition, for instance if you want to play the game with different colors, but yes Kenn has a very good point. Should be on top rated comment.

I like this game, but I wish that it would save what I have so I can go back for full stars without redoing it. Maybe they could save the colors and put a clear button in?

It would be nice to know beforehand what is the "par" for each level and/or to have an option after level completion to improve the (sub-par) solution or to advance to the next level.

Good ol' coloring problem. This game is fun, but it could benefit from 1) a reset button and 2) an indicator that tells you the solution is invalid.

Great game! My only suggestion would be to save the images of the levels after completing them so you can view your solution again!

sorry Onefifth already said it: Updates: "Music: For those of you who enjoyed the music, it’s done by a friend of mine and can be downloaded here: http://bit.ly/2iY0LF"

Easy trick to getting 3 colours on most levels: Start off with the 3 most irregularly shaped faces that are touching one another. Since they are all touching, they must have different colours, so assign each one of the three a colour at random. Then any other face that touches two different colours must be the third, so colour it that and repeat. If you picked a good starting set, you will likely finish almost the entire level if it can be coloured with 3 colours.

This is a vey fun game, I just wish there was a reset button. That way, if you have it entirely filled out, but made a mistake, you could hit reset.

The mecanics are really simple and quick to get used to. It's challenging enough to make you think but not so much it gets frutrating. I just wish there were more levels, because I love this game! It's an amazing time killer and really fun. Way better than crosswords. 5/5

Short, but I love this game. I can't wait for more levels and a sequel. The levels are just challenging enough to make you really think and every once in a while there's a symmetrical level so you get a short break to just breath. Overall 4.5/5

As for my problem, I managed to find a solution. You can't complete a level if you select it from the level select screen, or you just press 'continue' on the main menu, you have to scroll to it with the arrows on the sides of the puzzles. You do that, that puzzle will complete as it should.
I took a look and can't seem to find the problem you described! I was able to complete level 10 a few times accessing it from both the level select and the arrows. If you run into problems again or can replicate this bug, please don't hesitate to sent me a screenshot and I can try to look into it!

As a child, I would always do this in my head at patterns on the wall, and in blank colouring books. I always thought I was always alone. Thank you for re-making my childhood. ^-^

Please add an achievement for 5 points (easy) for finishing the game. :) All of the games should have achievements really, once the devs/moderators get around to it.
