Improvements: Wind, temperature difference (like ice), Ants do not eat al the seeds at once, Ants do not eat soil but move soil, Last but not least; evolution with ants and fisch.
Nice game but gets boring in i a while. Keep up the good work!

i found a glitch, if you fill it completeley with any element excluding block) then clear a single space at the bottom it will travel up and delete many spaces.

to make a water garden put down some water then add a little oil on top, pour a tiny bit of seed on it then add soil on top. you will get a couple of flowers on it

Wind is proving to be difficult to optimize. Maybe I'll work in my todo list, which includes a lot of the stuff you people have requested and THEN I'll try and keep working in the wind. Pressure is done, though (Although it doesn't do a thing :P)

I wish there was a cactus seed which is the same as the standard seed but grows in sand rather than soil and a seaweed please grows on soil with overflowed water.+ if you agree.

I had a nice little pond of fish right next to my thriving garden, but then I decided my garden needed a couple ants. The two ants I put destroyed all the plants and even the soil in a matter of two minutes and I couldn't get rid of them without burning everything in my level. Dumb ants.

@Eamb Sure the powder game is better but people play this so they can play on Kongregate aswell and because the enjoy it for reasons other than it being like the powder game. If you want the powder game so much ask the creator to put it on Kongregate.

Also I can direct the ants usind a trail of seeds. Problem with that is now they began reproducing because of it and they've become a soiland plant eating virus... I guess this is what its like playing god.

thanks onimatrix also could you create acid and maybe ice. Plus can other plants also be created from seed in certain areas like sand could make cactus, water make seaweed, lava make ash, stone make fungi, ect.

hm, very interesting game. In fact, i like it! needs better graphic. and yes, much more space to operate on :) keep it up, kongregate may support your work with some money too ;)

very good remake, needs C4 and the seed to be like block, same with stone. 5/5 but needs more elements like the actual Falling Sand Game

i just made a threepart ecosystem fish on bottom plants in the middle and ants on top!
the secret is to fill the fish part with water and then put oil on top of the water then put the green seed on it make sure theres no holes now repeat this for plants then u can put stone on top of the seeds then u may build the ants part congratulations you have 3 ecosystems

You could make flowers turn into trees or seeds turn directly into trees if there are 5x5 squares under it with soil and water.

This is a good attempt at creating a fun powder game. But unfortunately, it is almost the same as the Powder Game by Dan-Ball http://dan-ball.jp/en/javagame/dust/ . Sorry to give the news, but other than this, it is quite a fun game, especially with the steam.

no bennyboy me, this was made with flash, well, flixel using as3, not java. Arguably, to make something this good in flash is an amazing achievement.
