So lvl 3 sucks now. This is definitely a cheesy game for people who don't mind 'restarting game' to the point of mental retardation.

Yep, several waves into lvl 2 just sucks. There is no wave counter which makes it difficult to judge how poorly you're doing. I don't care how many ghetto rats you place or how few and promote, or where you put them. Upgrading is useless about 10 or 15 min into the game. Apparently the greater number of criminals you place on vantage point the more cars get through at the end. Oh well, in real life I support the cops and am one of the residents that bought guns primarily for putting down gangland malefactors, no matter what colors. I the programmers hadn't handicapped the game into stupidity it might have been fun.

Yeah, I tried to play this game about a year ago and it sucks worse now than it did then. Half way through the 2nd lvl you begin to let the cars go by until you're done. That sucks. At least I didn't wasted more than 10 min trying to spread dumasses around then sell or try to upgrade.

@TaylorHasRocks well Taylor, this isn't real life. A wide variety of SMGs have their own distinct performance that differs from any other brand. This ain't a CoD game. Not everything is overpowered they way you'd want it to be.

Like others I reached a stage where I could not place troops. I found this stage difficult to beat (well ok impossible).

I'm to the level with 45 dollars and 8 guys to lose. Any help is much appreciated. Tried most every postion and TNT. Still stuck.

if not for the inability at times to upgrade units mid round, it would be perfect for strategy buffs. only thing that causes me to leak

This is a nice little game, it's quite a challenge but it can be beat.
It certainly deserves badges and I think it would be a good candidate for badge of the day.

2 thugs is more exspensive and less deadly than 1 yellow thug
2 yellow thugs are just as deadly as a machine gunner but is 6 dollors more exspensive
TNT doubles damage while cars are in it slowdown zone cars will try to avoid though EFFECT DOES NOT STACK!!!!
upgrading above two is useless

I did not encounter the bug that prevented the placement of more towers. This is very hard, but I had fun. Just finished the last level. Sweet!

Something's off with the balance in level 3, it's just about impossible to maintain any amount of control, something gets through every wave no matter what.
1) TNT needs to do damage to units when placed.
2) Add more tool tip information. We want to see the numbers for the units, including upgrades.
3) Add RPG elements that reward success with points that can be spent on skills or assets, such as: Rapid Fire (Faster fire), Eagle Eyes (Increased Range), Precision Strike (Increased Damage), Bankroll (Boost to initial cash). Skills could be unit type dependent. Add Traps, Barricades, Decoys, etc. How about Chase Vehicles? A guy on a motorcycle with a gun, buggy with a guy who throws Damage Over Time Molotovs, car with 2 gunners, SUV with 3 gunners, Armored Truck that blocks the route as it progresses and fires out the back.
The graphics for this game are astounding. With some upgrades, this could be one of the best Defense games ever made.

The only idea I can come up with to improve this game is to make it possible to controll who you shoot at. Something like choosing target by clicking on it or setting shooters to attack fastest, weakest, slowest, strongest, farthest, nearest. Other than that, great game.

Not bad, but there's too much of a delay between selecting an item to place and actually being able to place it (takes what, 3-4 clicks?). Also, the AI of your shooters REALLY needs to work on prioritizing targets. 3/5
