removed popup with page inspector. There is no new charcter, especially not named Solara. There is no plot twist named Dark stormy night. I have no clue what that fairy could even be. If you are adding badges, at least make them possible to obtain

Dud badges (seriously???), and a game version even more CPU-hungry than before. It's getting worse and worse. Which is too bad, because it's not a terrible game (it just gets very monotonous after a while, as there are only a couple of bland enemies and one uninteresting field...)

After finishing a chapter it asked me to vote (feedback), I filled 2 of 4(?) sections, apparently all are mandatory, so I just (had to) skipped the vote instead..

@elspood: But there is no connection between the Steam and Kong version, or is there? I don't think that buying the Steam version can affect anything here on Kong.

For some reason, the menu music never stops playing; while in-game, it plays simultaneously with the in-game music, but only the latter responds to the volume slider. I can turn both sliders to 0, muting the non-menu music and all in-game sounds, and the menu music continues playing at full volume.

Revising rating to 1 star until new badge issue is resolved. Dev - please flag to your kongregate contact that the community is frustrated with their awful badging decisions the past few months, since they seem to not review any comments or community inputs.

Since you buy the Steam version, I'm not even sure you could get the badges if you bought this game. I'm not certain (because I'm broke as a joke), but I think you buy the Steam version, not an expanded version here on Kongregate.

Yeah the new badges are for unlocking stuff that isn't in the kongregate version, apparently they were unaware of what version kongregate has, no testing, not even checking, just 3 more unobtainable badges to a game with 15 badges already, great job!

This is a pretty fun and unique game on its own, but how is it even possible to release 3 new badges for a game that already has 15, and then they're quite literally impossible on this version of the game? I really want to believe in a future for this site but mistakes like these just don't seem to stop coming.

For some reason i need to press the scroll wheel on my mouse to shoot, Not the left mouse button, Why is that? Also the game needs to be able to fit the screen better.

Also, I had broken WASD keys and couldn't play this before my new keyboard arrived. I don't need it any more, but maybe a remapping controls option?

Oh, I see the difference now. Split Personality creates two weaker versions, and Twice Dead revives the original, stronger enemy.

what is the benefit o working together at a story? As var as I can tell by now, the difficulty is just raised in shorter time.

Big advice: If Plot Twists ruin your game (some, like Butterfingers, are horrible), do not hesitate to create or join a different story, because your character progress (perks,currencies) is not tied to a story, but to your account. You keep everything, and as far as I can see there is no actual downside to keeping any story behind. This also means that you can go wild and try to choose all kinds of wacky twists and also test the ones that sound imbalanced.

How to play:
1. Create a story
2. Choose your character & weapon (just take default, its not like you gonna be attacking much)
3. Get Tesla Coil for early defense(left path upgrades), all variants of loot range extension, secondary weapon cooldown, Nicola Scope for damage(right path upgrades), KILLSTREAKS
4. become literal sun god - constant lasers in all directions
5. just stand still watching empty screen (because everything dies before you can see them)
6. Win (or die!)
7. Choose plot twist increasing enemy spawns
8. Buy upgrades to Coil & Scope
9. Do it all again

I wanna relax when i play games like this, become OP and destroy everything with silly weapons. This game is TOO hard, too many enemies, low damage, can't skip reports that make game more difficult... nah, not good.

Chapters 1-5 are actually the hardest, lost every time, but eventually got all the achievements on chapter 16. What matters is upgrading the perks, a 40% damage increase help a lot, though its good to have at least one of every perk. Plot Twists: AVOID Challenge Arena, Hardcore Survival, Destructive Tendencies, Pet Survival, Narrow Focus. For Fun Twists: Paranormal Exercise, Elemental Maelstrom, Floor is Lava, Bloated Blimpies, Pet Jailbreak. Alot of twists just increase enemies, but if you can kill them and loop well it means more loot and faster growth. Please upvote

Really like these kind of games and really tried, but this ... sorry, no thanks.
Can't skip the book reports? They are all way too harsh. Fully functional on every start?? so spawning too strong enemies, sudden arena popups right in the pet-areas, that imprison you in the middle of the horde and I had no choice, cause it popped it right over me in a split-second?? The power increase from is nowhere close to the increase of difficulty by the books. Due to that, the books don't add challenge, but only heavy frustration and I'm usually VERY frust-resistant. As much as I really tried to like this game, the concept and imbalance makes it neither fun, nor challenging.

The best Vampire Survivors game on Kongregate for sheer variety. Six Twists built up, and I've got everything unlocked but the bow. Curse you, Eyebats, come at me!

The developers must have spent a lot of time on the 'async multiplayer' idea, implementing the 'find stories' screen, the voting mechanics, and the server backend.
Unfortunately, allowing the next twist to be chosen randomly, would have had pretty much the same gameplay experience.
For multiplayer to work, there would need to be some more interaction between the players.

Cost to upgrade a skill to lvl 10 is insane. Lowering both the cost and the effect could be good. I completed all the badges in 20 chapters. Having everything maxed out of at lvl 5/10. That is pretty much the end of the game... Adding more challenges, a 4th purchasable/unlockable act, maybe an endless mode (once you can fix all the lags due to number of monsters/orbs/dmg tags). Act 3 falling folk dance makes the game soooo laggy when you use lazers as the monsters have so much life, they are barely killable.
