Very cute and I liked the ending, but while I could only find three of the five, I only "caught" 1. The screaming banshee I couldn't figure out, nor the little plant-worm thing.

I enjoy the aesthetic of this game, but I found a few things to fix.
One, the enemies spawn too close to the edges of the platforms, especially at the very top of the stage. I can't get on without them knocking me back off.
Two, the game lags when I try to use the flutter jump and go left/right at the same time. (This makes my second J press not do anything.) This forces me to jump straight up, flutter, and THEN go left/right if I want to use the flutter jump. And that's just not quite enough distance for that last jump... Especially when combined with point 1, an enemy waiting for me at the very edge.
I hope you can change these things in the next version! Thanks Owlstice!

@Mozai, trying a few times in my case, the white screen is there for about a minute give or take before showing up properly, at which the loading bar is about 3/5ths full. Dunno if you have tried leaving it for a while then coming back to it?

Very cute game. As a backer to the real thing, I look forward to seeing it done in 2016. This is a nice tribute though. Nice touch with the Easter eggs. ;)

Signed up to say I loved every bit!
The character animations, the progression, the creative ways you have to get each ghost, the dialogue. It was just an all-round great game!
The story at the end really brought on the feels, and I won't spoil it for anyone else, and that bonus content for getting all the ghosts was perfect xD

Good game and nice tribute. I enjoyed the poem at the end.
My only criticism is the weird font you used. It's a bit of an eye-strain to read. Plus, is there a mute button?

I have to say, a Perfect Tribute! Every bit of dialogue (and graffiti) made me laugh, though through to the end those orange guys were unkillable...
