4. Now, head to the living room and light all six candles on the chandelier, grab key from the wall-drawer.
5. Go into the kitchen and open the right cabinet, grab the extension cable.
6. Go into the next hallway and use the matches with the spiderweb in the door-hole.

1. Navigate your way to the kitchen, click "use" then click the plunger, and then the sink.
2. Head to the bathroom, grab the key next to the faucet, then open the toilet to grab the bottle.
3. Go to the bedroom on the left side of your map, open the curtains and grab the matches.

this game is a rip! I start playing it and I walk into the kitchen and then an axe goes inside my head and when I try it a second time nothing is there! }:<

For me, just holding a match in front of the mirror is also not working.... isn't there anything else it must be done?

You tie the extension cord to the pipe in room/ hole. I played this game a few years ago, and I thought you had to flush the toilet or look in it or something to get that mirror scene.

I like it. I´m trying flash myself lately, and i can see the time that was put into this. Good Work.
But what i dont like are always the same people who are complaining, but dont have a single game themselve. If everybody on this site is so good, show some games yourself or shut up forever!

Pustulio: The game being old isn't an excuse, it's the truth. I've already made a sequel, why the hell would I go back and completely redesign the interface to the 1st? Again, it was made when I was just learning flash, so a lot of the code isn't the most efficient and if I was to take the time to redesign anything in this game, I might as well start on the 3rd instead. You have to realize that I am one person, with 2 kids and a full time job, this is a hobby and I spend enough time as is working with flash. Not to be an ass, but for a game with such a "bad interface design", it made the front page of newgrounds at it's release. So I'll say it again, enjoy it for what it is.

Thanks Dezzeron... I just had a heart attack...
Oh, btw, I like this game. It's kinda creepy... and hard. Checkpoint would have been better than having to replay the whole game 18 times. But it has this Shenmue-Flair of being "on guard" while pointing and clicking.

Wow I'm suprised this game dosen't have a higher rating I though it was great.

And the deathtrap thing is really original

Another note, this game was created between 2005-2006, I was just learning flash. Criticism is fine, but please keep it constructive. There may be a typo or two in the game, I made some mistakes. IT'S OLD! If you want to play something more up to date, play Heist II - Greed is Hell, it's my latest and it's not perfect, but it shows much improvement over the original. Please enjoy Heist - A Thief's Nightmare for what it is :)

lemi: If you don't like it, don't play it. It's a point n' click adventure, that's how the game works. The extra endings were put there as extra content, maybe I should have left that out and gave you more to bitch about. Constructive criticism please.

Another click-everywhere-try-everything bs. Final puzzle having 60 possible solutions forces to play at least 15 times to find all the endings on your own. Really cheap trick to increase replay value. Its amazing how much effort can be put to create such a weak game. I give it 1/5 because it could have been soooo much better.

I have one huge complaint. The 'use' interface is far from clear in the game.
When you click the use button it doesn't change the cursor and it makes a noise which might be interpreted for not doing anything.
My advice would be to change the interface of the cursor when the use button is hit so that people know that it does something. And it would also be helpful to highlight items which have been clicked on.
