Oh Stormbound, I loved playing you ...if only I could have frozen time to keep a version of you that was almost perfect... I'd have chosen the time just before Paladin Games introduced the Visions of the Grove card and gave the chipping mechanism to the winter faction who already had the unique "freeze" and "boost structures" abilities.
I liked those days.
Now we have Sheepyard slowly breaking the game month after month, with cruddy artwork, over complicated cards with terrible, verbose, descriptions and a policy to never address any damage done (they refuse to nerf councillor ahmi who is spammed by possibly 15 - 20% of players I encounter currently and is a total bore - game killer)
I have grown to really resent these guys - a fun little daily ritual is now a crappy bind that i find increasingly joyless

Extreme lag problem where the game lags and i AM UNable to do anything but Tthe turn timere still goes down so I lose my hole tjrm

sheepyard have good points and bad... they are ambitious, and have injected life into the game, however they are clumsy with power balance and have tweaked and boosted certain cards which are now spammed and extraordinarily dull to combat (again & again) ...they see a rarely used card designed by Paladin, crank it up and boom! great swathes of players build decks around it. It can be combatted but it requires luck and a compromise on at least 3 cards and thus preferred playing style.
I write primarily about the LEG/SWARM Councillor Ahmi of course... will Shipyard be big enough to admit their error and nerf him? I doubt it, they appear to upvote buried comments from Jun 2018 to supress criticism.
Poor show from a team who otherwise have injected a great deal of energy into the game. I hope they start taking heed of user feedback.

what the hell?
I came back after a year long break and tried to look for the positives, all the extra stuff you've added since you bought the game off paladin - some of it is over complicated, but most of it has good intention for widening the scope of play - and 've remained aware of my limited perspective (starting out afresh after eventually one tipsy night clicking the "wipe entire account button" mentioned at the top of popular comments) ...but FLIP ME ! ...I just played against a regular swarm hand armed with the new super powered Councillor Ahmi ...what an INSANE imbalance!
I'd spam that dude endlessly too if he was in my deck, till i got utterly bored of your game that is... even for a legendary, the power tipping weight of that card shows that for all the good interesting stuff you want to add to the community, your understanding of balance is utterly lacking...
I've been polite before, but now it is just glaringly obvious that someone high on your team is a total dufus.

Can we have some talk about starting first in a match? I feel like whoever starts a match has an advantage because almost anyone I play against always has green prototypes and a 2-mana cost card. I know that GP has been nerfed a little, but is it enough?

these guys screwed this game up... I LOVED this game, popped back after a year or more of time out, kinda disappointed... no way to get anything in brawl if you're iron (previously everyone could snag a single green gem if they plugged away for ten games) some really over complicated new cards - and the stupid dual card error still hasn't been resolved ...Paladin did a great job - Sheepyard might be good enthusiastic guys, but they tinkered and tampered too far. Shame.

The game is great but there is a lot say about it's implementation :
First it should be way more optimized, both in kongregate and in the app ! The quality of connection required could be greatly reduced (seemingly). What's more the game and app are too slow to run, this could be optimized too !
Then the game lacks a lot of stability, I too often meet crashes while playing. And losing a turn often means losing a game so it is really frustrating.
At least there is a real problem with animations time. The animation are great but it takes too long when a lot of them happens together. Along with the lag it become sometimes impossible to finish your turn properly as you would have liked to. A
nice feature would be a "quick animation" mode which make the game faster.
It would be great if you would work on these issues. The new draft mode is great but I think the game will get better by improving itself than by being added new content for now.

@Serp13 there are rules defining where your units will attack. If there is an enemy in front, they go for it. If there is an enemy to one side, they attack that. If there are enemies on both sides, they attack the one that is closer to the middle line. Though this is nowhere told and it can be confusing for a newcomer. But if you know this it opens up a lot of strategic possibilities for yourself.

My tower is at 3, should my 7 power cats go after the 4 power ravens that will kill me next turn, or the 1 strength frog 1 space ahead? Of course they go for the frog and I die. This game is trash. Do better.
