Hmmm... I like the idea, but I seem to be spending more time figuring out how to play than figuring out the crime....

Pretty good all around. The only thing that needs to be changed is the interface for combining leads. It's way too clunky.

Interesting concept, but if you combine the clues in a different order than the developer expects you to, it won't let you unlock the Motel, and thus makes it so you can't complete the game. 2/5 - shows promise, but right now it's just "win the game by doing things in the exact order as the walk-through." Also, the ending revels a whole storyline that was barely even hinted at in the game.
(As a side comment - beach houses on the San Francisco Bay side of San Francisco? If the map says it's next to the iron works, it might be a hint there's not a beach there)

Cool game, but doesnt make sense... how does a bullet fired by a gun of that caliber fire right through a man, (I know it was point blank range, but still!) through a wall, through a window next door and still manage to kill a girl inside?

Played the whole game without using a walkthrough, but sometimes I was tempted through no fault of my own. There were a lot of UI issues that need to be smoothed out for future iterations, such as a clearer indication of what you need to do, and how you interact with objects. Otherwise, the game was fun, and I liked the art style. I'd like to see more of these in the future. 3.5/5

Not too shabby a game. milkbeat, you prolly had it doused already and put back in your inventory. If not... I dunno, cus there really isn't a lot of use for it.

I love these kind of games! Admittedly, I had to use the walkthrough to figure out how to put leads together to progress through the game. The artwork really drew you in to set the mood but one thing that's frustrating is the artwork itself can hinder the progress. The walkthrough showed where the tire tracks were and it was something I totally missed because it seemed to blend in so well.

this is the best detective game i have seen. HOWEVER it is not the best. the best would be one with alternating villains

OMG. LOVE IT. Everything i would ever want in a detective game. Have spent maaaany long hours looking for a game like this. THANKYOU!♥ This is just brilliant. Only thing i would say is a continue button butt thats all(: Perfectt to be honest, love the fingerprint tool, the realistic characters and questions and basically everything. A million outta a million ♥♥♥

The artwork, story, and method of finding clues is decent. The main problem I found with this game is that the way you progress through most of the game is by combining items in the leads section, and some combinations do not feel like they fit.

eh it was an okay game but i wish it were a little longer and the ending didnt come up so fast. overall i give it a 3/5

good game, but the climax was too... soon. (I'm trying to make this as free from spoilers as possible) It goes from one thing, and then boom, the end. Draw it out longer, introduce the suspects in more detail. Make us work for the solution, don't just tell us this is what really happened. We should know, definitively, who the murderer is before the final scene.
Aside from the problems with the story line, it was good. I like the whole noir feel, and, once you knew how to collect evidence, it felt natural. But the story felt only half-told, and that's big to me. 3/5

Really good from my opinion, it needs to be longer, it really brings the player into the story.I hope to see more of this, or turned into a series. 100 % sure this gets 5 stars from me, goodjob. good graphics, like the black and white. really good! Sincerely - A Happy Player (Agent_Fire)

i think..that there will be a part 2...you see..in the ending..befoe the last picture of the dead women..we see something like a mob...a mafia boss or something...maybe..that mob was kidnapping that women..in the middle house...see..the women in the picture was standing on a chair..in the middle of the room...in a empty house => kidnapping...

If you don't look at the bank details before you go to your desk, you don't get the bank location and the game can't be finished.
