Originally it would have been a 5/5 but then... I realized that because I made one mistake while talking to the crazy old lady in the beginning, that I can't get the sunset motel, so I can't FINISH the game after putting all my time into it.. therefore, I present you with a 1/5, may your soul burn in hell forever.

!CAREFUL! COMMENT INCLUDES SPOILERS!
A lot better than the first one. It's still not absolutely perfect (a hole in the window would have been helpful) but overall the story was logical in the end. I simply have to give this a 4/5. I love the concept behind this series and I want more of that. A more interactive ending with the possibility to fail by making wrong conclusions would add a bit fun, in my opinion. Right now we look for the evidence, try to find connections, but in the end the conclusion is still merely presented to us. If we could find the final conclusion in an interrogation with a suspect or with a final clue (here: the body of Steel), or even fail by asking the wrong person until he gives in and confesses something he hasn't done or making a wrong conclusion it would make the feeling of being the detective perfect.
Please make another one.

on the lead board, things can be attached more then once!!! some people dont get this, making it harder for them. also you pretty much had to guess the entire game through.

One complaint [slight spoilers]: One of the clues is found by talking to the cat-lady BUT if you ask the wrong questions you won't get it, and you can't get it afterwards. Whole game (as far as I know) is unfinishable without it.

awkward enough, I couldn't finish it and went for the walkthrough. I even found more proof than tasslefoot (like the girl's fingerprints directly from hand) I've connected the necessary leads as well as in the walkthrough... and so, but nothing still. I'll restart the game, see if it helps.

Well, I managed to break the game by accidentally clicking the map too fast more than once, making all arrows to change scenes turn into the hand cursor and me unable to use my map, despite reloading the game. Whoops.

What kind of cheap motel has pamphlets? What kind of low-life thugs keep copies of said pamphlets? Why, dear lord why in the world would they carry the thing around with them and drop them at work? Please, people, please.
You get a star for art, one for storyline, and -5 for yet another illogical point and click -- 2/5.

Getting a weird problem where I can't click the map... tried refreshing a few times and still no luck. All other items are click-able and I'm able to move around where I am stuck... *sigh*

good game nice stratergising methods used nice graphics, mood, scenes and just makes it even better in black and white. gives it that dark mysterious feeling like something gone down and its bad. 9/10

Really nice presentation, well thought out game. Once you get the hang of combining leads it's really easy to play and fun.
Like others have said if you could have an impact it would be nice, but at the same time I get annoyed at games where if I make a mistake I have to start over, and they can get quite tedious.
A sequel would be nice, there are a few little points that others have said about that could be improved, perhaps a bit longer story too, but 5 out of 5 for this, one of the most enjoyable games in a long time.

VERy good game. if it wasn't for some little flaws, it would be perfect. i'd give it 4/5...nah, screw it. 5/5 for this game, it was THAT good.

This game started well, I was about to give it at least a 4... but the end is highly disappointing. It's supposed to be a detective game, however the game itself lets you solve only 20% of the case, while the remaining 80% is handed out to you in the ending sequence. As I said, disappointing!!!!

good game. graphics could stand to improve, but I like a good story more than anything. And I love how everything gets explained after in the end. Hope for a sequal maybe? 4/5

How the hell does the forensic's lab match the blood sample to a person. They have a database of every citizen's DNA?

Deserves a 5/5. Instructions are the tutorial, so read them before playing it, it's short anyway, ice atmosphere, cool graphics and a very good and rewarding ending. 5/5 it is!

Great game but it still need improvements. You should include some instructions how the items work. And storyline we could have impact on would be awesome. If we could do mistake when pointing out the murderer. This game has amazing artwork! Superb graphics and nice music make proper atmosphere. With improvement you are able to make this type of game on of the best games on Kongregate. I will wait for the sequel. Are we able to find out who is the girl?

Very good game and wonderful art. But I agree with some comments, this game can definitely be tightened up. "Raports"? And why is fingerprint tape being used to sample the blood? And where was that autopsy report?
The ending was a little disappointing, I thought part of the game would be to identify a suspect as the murderer but with how it played out here, the bum was almost unnecessary.

as long as you're thorough, this game is pretty easy. would have been nice if we could have figured out the story of what happened over the course of the game instead of just being told flat out "this is what happened." oh well... 3/5

This game is pretty simple actually. The main deal is in linking all the leads together and you will unlock the last location. and... you really don't have to think too hard for this game, which is nice. =)

One of the sloppiest in terms of storyline (Even for a bunch who's only probable interaction with detective fiction has been Tracer Bullet), gameplay (Dust for clues on the scene! Except you won't need to, and almost immediately after the start of the game they've given up on including places to try), and execution (The minimum of feedback you receive when trying to pin everything together makes it hard to tell if you're on the wrong track or just missed an unintuitive and unexplained clue you need).
