Having to restart at the airplane after you go the wrong direction takes away from a lot of the fun. Trying to figure out where you need to go and knowing if you fail you'll have to start from the very beginning discouraged me from progressing past the caves. 2/5 for potential.

This game would be better if it either: were like the ninja game, you don't die: he just refuses to do things, or : start right before you died. It's annoying to start from the beginning.

A finely polished game but the actual gameplay is rather frustrating due to the lack of autosave. 2/5 for the lack of playability.

The map you get before the maze doesn't seem to have any connection to the maze. I wonder why it's there and what it's a map of.

more fun to kill alex than to actually play. Cute graphics. Slow, slow, slow, slow, slow character movement. No save points, no "skip this slow scene we've seen 5 times already". Could be longer.

This suffers from all the classic problems with adventure games.
compounded with the fact that you have to restart COMPLETETLY and you can't make stubbylegs walk any faster gives this a 2/5 - at least the art is decent.

my son's name is Alex....what?...noone cares?....oh the game, yeah it's ok....bit tedious and restarting after you die is dumb

Nice graphics, nice traps (though I wished there were more different in the maze), but rather short.
Saving? No need to.. I mean.. you can complete the game in 2-3 minutes? Why saving..
Unfair? Start thinking.. all traps can be predicted.
A animation-skip-function would be nice though.
4/5 for watching him die :D

Give the option to skip animations and allow players to start from the result of their last correct choice rather than the beginning. I liked it (thought it was way too short) but having to watch the whole animation every time it forced me to start from the beginning was a pain.

Starting over each time you fail is bad.
The game is kinda short once you pick up a piece of paper and a pencil...
Normally, I like this kind of games, but I can't really give you more than 2/5.
Try spending more time on the story of the game next time. ;)

Awesome, i can see the right options but just like to do the wrong ones to see how he'll die :p Although save points would be cool so you didnt have to go right back to the begining every time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
restart from beginning in combination with mazes and timed traps is just too tedious to bother with after spending ten minutes already.

It might be good. But since everything is a random 50/50 (or less) choice, starting at the beginning is horrible.
This type of game should not have death. Just punishment, or humor for mistakes, and then back to the same choice point. (Like sprouts or anika's...)

too short. considering th ninja games an this I was disappointed with this and only hope it was made waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before. 1.
