top runners, including myself have been playing this for over 6 years, we make it look easy since we've played unbearable amount of hours into it

Looks like a decent game, but it's terrible at explaining its own mechanics, and watching the top player's replay doesn't help me either. I know how curves on a racing track are supposed to be approached, but I have no clue how to execute it in this game.

I legitimately do not remember playing this game but apparently I got the badge all the way back in 2017. Based on the current rating, that's probably a good thing.

Same as @archerbob, pro track did not unlock for me either despite getting the required time and the animation playing.

I knew I was right to hate this game, I just encountered a bug where my fastest run did not count and despite the key flying across the screen to unlock the pro track it didn't

I got master in both tracks easily by racing against the first ghost in master and learning when to slowdown from them. I havn't played this game since 2017, so it's not about being used to it. If you only care about the badge, do the same thing with the first pro ghost.

Well this game is a 1 star fail for me, after awhile the pro track locks itself and you need an impossibly fast time to unlock it again
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well I figured out what I was doing wrong, apparently I had to make sure I was on the pro track instead of the sprint track. I've managed to get within 0.4 seconds on the badge but now am consistently 5 seconds away and very frustrated
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Woah! I thought I couldn't do it but after 10 minutes of miserable failing I got the badge. Wasn't that hard, just a little frustrating.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh, that was easier than expected. You aren't actually competing with other players, just comparing yourself to them to try and improve your own time.

we have the world records (best time ever gotten on a track, been tracking the fastests times for 2 years now) and chat with others who also play this game!

We could have a computer-generated new track every day. It would take a programmer just a few hours to write the necessary lines.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's like a normal racing game, but without all that unnecessary stuff like steering and drifting and fancy graphics. 5/5

Ok that is such a weird coincidence that I have to share it: I needed only two more models (plus two collectibles). I just bought one with 200 credits - and on the next spin, I got the other one. Bug? I mean, yey! ... but was that a bug? Or just a really big coincidence?

sorry to break your succerity check but there's more optimization then you think, if you couldent tell, im The_Return and have been playing for 4+ years now, im not using some dumb program to re-record a time i just know the track really well to where it almost becomes muscle memory. if you just going to say everyone top players used a re-recorder, stop playing the game and stop complaining about it. thank you

Awww ... aren't you cute. Sorry to burst your bubble. On a track that is shorter than 10 seconds, there really aren't many "choices". It is about when to release the acceleration button, and there are programs you can use to record it, edit it, and then replay it.

Bart, no one is using an automatic system to get a good score. its just knowing the fastest route and then putting the time into it to actually set a good time
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Since all you have to do is press one button, the "winners" are people who use a computer program to do it for them. If the tracks were randomly generated each day, that would still be possible, but would take longer, and fewer cheaters would do it.

you do know they havent updated in over 2 years, and they defenetly wont came back to it, i remember when i started there were 14k players in the sprint track, now there's rarely 1.5k
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So yeah ... after some time, you have all the cars (or at least all the ones you want) ... what's left to do, if no new tracks are added to the game? I can't even try to beat my all-time-best on the old tracks because the all-time-bests aren't stored anywhere.

re: the previous comment -- Just because you're seeing different behavior for the same input doesn't mean the game is using RNG. Slight noise in the computing environment (meaning slightly different amounts of CPU time granted to the game) can change what happens, particularly if the game is updating each time a frame is rendered. Ideally, one tries to minimize that, but it's not possible to eliminate it entirely. If the situation happens to be right near an edge case, you're going to see varying behavior more often.
