Great writing, man! The game mechanics are simple, but the story is just enough to keep anyone interested. You definitively know how to manage mystery.

I've got the same issue as tappedntacking, i used the catch up tool to get to episode 21, then i played through 21 normally. I come back later and all my progress is gone again. Is there a solution?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I figured out the problem. The catch-up tool automatically sets what chapter you are on based on where you end. I watched through the chapter one choices, so it set me on chapter 2 and didn't let me enter any later chapters. When I watched through chapter 18, it let me go to chapter 18 and no later chapters.

I have completed up through all the chapters thru 21, but I just came back to find my progress all gone. It's the same account I normally use in the same browser I normally use and I didn't even clear cookies or history, but now the game wants me to play through all the chapters again to unlock chapter 22. Is there a way to circumvent this or do I have to play through all the chapters again?

*Important Programming Note* The Episode titled "September-Ish" is the wrong color and doesn't seem to be clickable. Please help!

Hello,
I just got this message while playing the first ep. of ARC2. How can I solve it?
"Out of memory. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating more memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings."
Thanks!
Try playing with just this game open in your browser (no other tabs). If it's still giving you that message, ping me on Twitter/Discord/Reddit (I'll see those messages faster)

I seriously don't know how you did it / do it, but, you took a concept I would have NEVER otherwise played (interactive fiction), somehow got me to play. At first, it was VERY apprehensively and begrudgingly. Through the first few chapters, I was completely uninterested in the dialogue (or so I *thought*) and just kinda skipped ahead to the puzzles, mainly only continuing to play until I got bored of the puzzles and moved on.
What subsequently happened has blown my mind.
I'm immersed. Next thing I know I'm absolutely, helplessly immersed. I don't even like to READ fiction, let alone spending my free time playing GAMES about READING FICTION. But here I am. Pissed as hell. That the next episode is September-away.
You've beautifully -- perfectly -- integrated the music with the setting, the context, the atmosphere. And the music... it's GREAT. It conjures up the remaining details of the setting that the visual aspect provides.

I wonder if Sent going away for a bit had anything to do with Beth's 'death'. Maybe he did more than just make a puzzle. Also, I wonder if Beth had access to those poison pills...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
At one point during the conversation with Sent on the monitor (NOT the Gemini) he/she/its name said "Sean"... mistake or clue?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
theory: Beth died due to the explosion caused by Ink. She was holding a sharp object at that moment and accidentally self-inflicted a wound on herself with the shock.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm getting the feeling from the fact that, after the puzzle, Ink comments on the fact that a voice in his head gave him the answer, that this was one puzzle where we were SUPPOSED to talk to Liza until we got the answer.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay, I was sure that Chapter 22 was going to end with Rae having finally succumbed to blood loss and died. How wrong I was.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's nice how, if you exhaust all of the hint options in the puzzle, you get a different dialogue afterwards. It supports the theory that Ink is schizophrenic.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Sirius2015 I know, but Ink SAID he didn't notice any changes, which wasn't the answer Liza was looking for. The important thing here is Liza's reaction.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great job as always, I especially like how you added Ink and Rae's contacts. I just have one thing to say before I start theorizing, as Icklem had said below/above, if you have a nose bleed do not tilt your head backwards instead lean forward/tilt your head forwards while holding/pinching the bridge of your nose while breathing through your mouth to help the blood flow out of your nose so it doesn't end up blocking the airways of your nasal passage.
THEORY TIME! I believe that Sent might have been the one in the red cap following Sean, and he might have been one of the people who took Tiana's side with the RN project as of who created it which is why they hurt Rae so badly. One reason why they might have made Tiana a "Contestant" because they wanted to hear both Tiana's and Rae's side of the story. One other thing, I think that Liza may be lying about not being able to contact her father anymore.
By the way: YAY NEW CHAPTERS/EPISODES! I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE 22ND!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@knewred Actually Ink said that he felt different in the way he reacted to people and in general behaviour, so Ink felt different too, even if not as a dramatic change as Liza.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@katstone719 A theory I heard that I thought was convincing was that she was blind originally, and her eyes were fixed when she entered the game (like how Beth's dead son is able to talk to her). She asked Ink whether he'd experienced any physical or mental changes when he entered the game, and was disappointed when he said no.

So, we all agree Liza has dyslexia, right? Like they've been hinting at it since like chapter 3, and I keep expecting her to finally just burst out and admit it. With this most recent pressing, like. It's gotta come out soon enough, right?
Although, maybe that's spoilers? If the game actually let you go with the other group first. Who here chose what door?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's 10am on the 15th and I NEED Chapter 21!!! Where is it?!!! I demand you upload it immediately!!! Or you could die ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You're actually supposed to keep your head straight, not tilt it back or forward. The blood will stay in one place and clot more quickly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sent really did change a few things when he/she/it rearranged the 'hotel', ALL my progress was wiped! I refreshed the page and luckily it all came back. It was either refresh... or Sent could die! :P
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Congratulations to the developer.
You managed to keep me hooked despite the 6 months' wait on Arc 2: I usually lose interest if I cannot play within 24 hours.
[SPOILER]: I think it is a psychology experiment Avatar-style, which would explain why Liza feels "different" and Rae survived a massive blood loss pretty unscathed. And Aether would be the extra one, sort of a guide to Ink, who is probably the real guinea pig. [END OF SPOILER]
Can't wait to see the end!!

[[SPOILER]]
Hmmm.. no, I don't buy it. The one in the gemini is not Sean, he is writting to calmly for someone that was being chased... Either way, I'm convinced that Beth is a clone now, so showing clones of Tiana and Sean would confirm my suspicions...[[END OF SPOILER]]
Congratulations, I'm completely addicted to this game since the first chapter. I would love to read a book with this style of story >.< But I could die T.T

@onepunchmand - It (chapter 20) is out for me right now. Sometimes, this game has had a bit of a history of new chapters not showing up right away for some people -- my understanding is that it's probably some sort of caching issue where it still keeps the game in memory from last time you played. Try again (maybe a few times) and it'll show up eventually. [Note: despite what I said about it being a caching issue, **DON'T** try to fix it by clearing your cache. While that may work, it will also nuke your save files, so probably not what you want...]

Minor typo- in the recap it says "hummed and hawed", when the expression is actually "hemmed and hawed". Great episode, though!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game is defenately amazing but I have one concern! The next chapter says [JULY 8TH], it's july 8th... the next chapter isn't online! Please help!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The ammount of glitches this 'game' has is pretty unforgivable. Aside from the constant bugs when it comes to saving, half of the puzzles don't properly load. I am interested in the characters, but to call it a game at all, is a misnomer. You are reading a book, with a handful of puzzles. I'd honestly rather be reading this in a webcomic format.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Any reason why the extra "Contestants" haven't been added to the 'Standings'? I personally have the Trust Ratings for the original 4 - 100% for Aether, about 50% for all others - nothing showing under Paranoia yet, so I'm wondering what other Users have so far?

*Important Medical Note:* If you have a Nose bleed, *DON'T* tilt your head backwards (this can cause severe problems if you inhale any blood) - instead, pinch your nose (for 10 to 15 minutes), leaning forward, whilst breathing through your mouth. Use an icepack across the bridge of your Nose if possible.

Based on clues given, are the characters trapped in a simulated world? A lot of whats being shown only make sense if they're not in reality.
