I had a glitchh causing the "game over" not to stop existing and becoming "part of the battlefield". On level 45. On general. The game may be telling me "You already know the outcome. Why are you even trying?"

The modes aren't that hard once you play it a few times =)
The only annoying thing I have experienced so far is that it somehow removed my hiscore on Captain mode twice now (both got me to the no. 1 spot...)
As for General mode, think about how you spend your updates :P
I usually save up some cash, buy the damage/speed upgrades when it only costs ~10% of my money, and put all the upgrade points on Investment, except for three points on the all-round shield at level 25-30 :)
Good luck!

Incase all help fails, listen to some rock music and go crazy. i mean it. this is not a joke. music helps other then the game music.

I gave it 4//5 stars. It's a good game, very entertaining, but I got annoyed when I was trying to bounce back bullets and it clearly should have bounce off the edge of me sheild, but instead it his my base. The Game Over screen made me think the game froze... =/

Nice concept, but very repetitive. I found myself pretty bored after only 15 or so levels.
3/5, needs more variety in gameplay.

to win in general mode :
1) bonuses : reach 50% in investment, then antimater shield (3) + heatseekers (3)
2) concentrate your upgrades before level 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 to kill the big tank (u must defeat all of them to get 3 points of bonus from each)
3) uograde first energy and then shield bounce, and use repair kit as much as u can since they are cheap
4) no need of sticky before level 6
5) no need of static before level 8

Boring, but what do you expect from this type of game. It was made to be repetitive...though 50 levels is a bit much...

A tip for before you get the sticky shield. Put your mouse right over your target and almost every time if the missile hits your shield you will hit that target.

dont you hate when theres 2 missiles flying at you and you dont know which one to block and you end up getting hit by both? plus if u agree :D

followup to my previous comment:
1. Build I used to beat the game: bonus points until 29% interest, then antimatter shield + whatever else you want (pretty much just choose whatever buffs offense).
2. Obviously the less $$ you spend on upgrades the more you'll have collecting interest, but it doesn't really matter past ~250-300hp / 150 shields as you shouldn't have problems winning with that much hp. The offensive upgrades cap around ~$100k anyway.
3. Beating the game without the antimatter shield is nearing impossible badge territory, but with it you shouldn't die more than a few times throughout the entire game.

@ awesomedude1110 If you have 5% interest rate I wanna know what bank you go to. Also you just put out your 11 years old and you have to be at least 13 to join kong. FAIL!

The strategy I used for general was not spending my bonus points until the allaround shield. You want to do this FIRST because youll find the game can be unfair, and have projectiles coming from all directions at the same time at you. As for the money upgrades, I just upgraded everything, usually whatever was lowest level on the time - energy cells are important because they'll keep your all around shield working. I also got sticky shield/static shield as soon as I could. Next, I got homing missiles. These are useful when you can't really take the time to aim, and besides the missiles themselves are slow and hard to hit with. This makes them much more useful. I also tried to have a couple of repair kits, but only when I couldn't beat the level without them. To be honest you'll have levels based on luck, unless you buy a LOT of repair kits. Just have to hope you don't get a level in which the tanks constantly shoot at the same time - all around shield doesn't last forever.Hope I helped!

Wave thirty four of general have max energy infuser 250 base HP 135 Energy 80,009 cash 32% intrest and I can perfect every wave>:D

20k cash by wave 16 lol. Its actually a really hard game, while playing on general and trying to keep most of your cash to earn money off interest ^^

Sorely imbalanced in the end levels (gets annoying, nigh impossible to not get hit without the right upgrades). Wonder if the maker ever tried playing this on the harder difficulties. Decent design, lacks variation though 3/5

I don't know if this is a glitch or what but I saved up a ton of money and on the last level I spent it all upgrading my base and energy cells. As I was upgrading some of the costs turned negative and then upgrade base turned into $0. So now I can upgrade my base HP as much as I want for free!

other strategy: only upgrade when necessary, spend all the bonus points on investment till 50% after spend the rest on antimatter shield and damage reducer/heatseeker.
If you do not spend money, just when nescessary - more than one shot to kill - you can upgrade the damage and bullet spped to max at level 25. after that it is relative easy...

Tank soldier: sir we've found an enemy stronghold. Its unarmed but has a shield that reflects any weapon in the history of creation. What should we do?
Tank general:Form a square some distance around it, far enough away so that they have time to move the shield and reflect our shots back at us. And make you fire one at a time.

Aw! For the loot thing right now, it says: "Captain.", be careful what you click, I accidentally clicked: "General.", That's when I realized I clicked the wrong one, when I had like 10,000 something. :(

After playing for more than an hour and ending up rage quitting at level 45, I came back to find out Save Game doesn't actually SAVE GAME when you close the browser...
