Love this game, and allways will!
I love paying this game and playing the music 'bad boys, allways catching my eye', makes it more... matrix, try it!

My biggest issue is that there's really no reason to do the special attacks besides wanting to do flashy cool tricks. Just clicking for normal attacks puts out a LOT more damage in less time, especially since I CAN upgrade those quickly and cheaply, but not the special attacks until later and with some definite XP grinding. Typically, the more complex or difficult to do action should be the more rewarding one in a game. Yes, the click+drag to slash thing is a very cool mechanic, but it doesn't work anywhere near as well when there's an easier, more conventional way to attack available for the whole game. Especially since the Oni's, who are the toughest opponents by far besides the final boss, don't seem to take any damage whatsoever from special attacks. And honestly since Armor Games does upgrade and build option removal all the time, I've got no complaints there. Would definitely play again some time when I need to kill a few minutes, but not the greatest game I've ever seen.

That was fun. My only issue was that doing the special attacks was has when furiously clicking around. Other than that, the game as fun, epic, but also very very short. 4/5

u know how they say that monsters come back at u if u skip them? do it anyways. keep doing dash to the right and jumps and just run. i got 287th place. dont even bother doing the whole thing cuz the highscores are about time and not score.

a great example that a storyline is not always necessary to make a great game who care why there is an army of walking/flying metal hunting me? it doesn't matter as long as i can just walk the entire bunch with my samurai sword.
a great game verry good artwork excellent gamplay you can start playing for the first time but still you will be throwing out great combos and techniques in a matter of seconds
i also loved the bossbattle
however i would like to see the rest of the shop even thoug i don't think it is a must because the game is fun annyway
great game 5/5

listen to "march of the swordmaster" by rhapsody of fire...feels so good alongside this game and it sorta matches the fighting rythm of the game...

This is really nice game. Great graphics, and the battles are fun. I like the ideas, how you don't have to click directly on the enemies, and it is also cool how you can use your special attack to get up in the air and over the obstacles. 4 stars. ;D

That was really fun! And I'm not usually a fan of side-scrolling button-mashing "action platformer" games. Was anyone else reminded of "Samurai Jack" at all? Also loved the Hong-Kong-cinema-wire-fu effect when you jumped up for an attack and just kept attacking. Great art & character designs, too.

all give ya some credit the game is fluid and has great graphics but the enemys where way to strong it took a long time to kill 1 and thats what made me stop playing i just didnt want to waste so much time trying to kill one creature

It was a great game, but its torture for slow computers. I kept having to wait while my combo finished to start a new move, and that was with graphics set to lowest setting. If you can learn not to button mash, you should be fine. Dont click again until your first move finishes. 5/5
