im convinced. what is the story? im going to write a book on this game. rate up so i can see target audeince, and ill write it. this game needs a story. 5/5 + fav. bravo. p.s. this is coming from someone who owns all halos and gears of war. i know my bad aliens from my good.

this game is truly AMAZING! go ahead thumbs me down thumbs me up i don't really care, its just telling me that you agree or don't agree so, you'll pretty much teach me something, anyways, i like how it starts out a alien crashing onto earth and clueless, to protecting four civilians during a war, and the story is amazing, a girl finding an alien as it meets her family then protecting them as if he was in they're family! 5/5 i wish i could rate it 5 quadrillion/5!

This game is not a game in which random slaughter is the objective, but to protect. To protect something dear to your heart. This game is about sacrificing everything for something greater. You have to look past the low amount of blood and the not-so-realistic graphics to see that and truly appreciate this game.

As sad as this is as a a game it could do with some audio and animation tweaks. Not bad though, very moving. Of course in the real world if this ever occurs in real life humans wouldn't kill it but talk to it and befriend (if it was sentient), it would herald a new age, or experiment on it if it wasn't. Killing would be a last resort if it an an alien was a threat. Bravo pixelante, for the metaphor and meaning.

This is a very moving game and 3.80 is not a justified rating. It deserves at least 4.00-5.00. I love shooting,war,killing and violence related games but this just, I'm lost for words but from me, this game gets a 5 star rating. Thank you for putting this game on Kongregate Pixelante.

well i think ur simply thinking to much. this game is nice i agree, but u are talking like its a huge thing. there arent any that big thaughts behind this game. so stop overkilling the drama and saying ur hate the ppl who want rage games. just all chill. mind your own bisinus and stop thinking you know all

Sorry not the great of a game as everyone makes it out to be. Sorry there is really no story. As a combat veteran this is just a BS bleeding heart thing that serves no purpose. Far better games that deserve badges over this. And go ahead and vote this down if you like, just shows the people who can't handle a differing opinion.

So. An alien comes to earth, protects some people, but dies. The message of the game is humans destroy things. but, so do beavers. So do squirrels. It's just there's a high population of humans who need lots of resources. People seem to think humans are the only ones who ''destroy'' things. You can't build a house without destroying something to get the resources, neither can beavers to build a dam. My point is it's not humans people should be complaining about, but the population.

wow. a game made for the sole purpose of making people realize how under-evolved we are, and there are STILL people who think that this some BS "hippie" game. You know what? maybe you should think about something: we as humans aren't even technically mammals, all other mammals on this planet have learned to live in a constant equilibrium with their environment, but not us, we choose to destroy it for own materialistic gains. I.E. we suck. So all of you that simply take this game at face value, you are worse than apes, because at least they know how NOT to annihilate everything they touch.

lothar if you honestly belive as a combat veteran that war is a wonderful thing and should happen then you are sick. a cousin of mine happens to be fighting in afghanistan and he really dislikes it, however necesary it may be to defend ourselves, war should be avoided. all who think otherwise are sick bloodlusting saditists, thats why your comment is under the rating

It's a game for hippies. The whole message of it is ''Stop war, it's bad!'' Oh, and it's boring.
Why the hell is it an 'action' game.
If I wanted a story about ending war, I would read a book.

I truley agree with Khanz... i like my shooters and rpgs but these artistic games are always a real treat and are something I would always much rather play.

so, my alien refused to die.
the screen bounced up and down and the family cried but the alien could still move around at the slowest speed, moving the family group around with him(off to the left a bit)

After playing this game, I just had to comment. Easy 5/5 from me; these little games with such a deep, emotional story really resonate with me. I love the simplistic design which feels like a perfect fit with the slow, somber music (though I'm not sure if that's the best word to describe it). I wish there were more meaningful games (like The Company of Myself, Loved, Coma, Don't look Back [just to name a few]) present on this site.

A really beautiful game, those people who think this was stupid or boring don't have anything else to think about than death and war. I really like these artistic games, too bad there are not many of them.
