I think it's sad that the little girl seems to be the only one who really remembers you. All the others leave and stop crying, but she's still crying as she walks away...

It really makes you think, because when you get the live ending, it says forever immortal, which I'm assuming you live in the memories of the family. Very nice game.

something i noticed at the end is that everyone stops crying before they leave, except the girl. to me, that means she moved on, but still missed you, whereas the rest simply forgot about you.

Interesting how they picked a game where the alien protects the humans, but I'm glad they did, otherwise I'd have missed this game from my life.

I keep coming back to play it. The music is so emtional and atomspheric. And for that 10/10. My favorite game of all-time.

beautiful game. i was holding back tears at te end of it. it tells such an amazing story. it's so sad that people don't respect games like this. all they want is blood. but this game is more powerful than violence. it teaches us a lesson in sacrifice and unconditional love. definitely deserves a 5/5

♥ It was short. It was simple. The music was beautiful, and I loved it, as when the extra-terrestrial started to wisp away and die, the music slowed, and the feel of it was dramatic, sad. The alien had made friends, humans, who he/she wanted to protect, and therefore, he was a shield for them when war struck and armies of soldiers where a against him. Kind of reminds me of 'The Iron Giant' movie. A marvelous, touching game.

I love how the entire game is all guitar from the bg music and the actual in game effects.
This game, loved, majesty of colors, don't look back, etc. should all be in an "art" badge pack.

I'm very glad there's been this "Emotional Gaming" (Ico, Heavy Rain, Flower, thankfully many more) movement over the past couple years. Thank you; this game kicked ass.

i love this game, what our mind thinks is good, is what we are used to, but this game really opened all my body, and why should they forget about us, we died to save them, and they leave our body to rot, shows how ungrateful we all are...

I wish I could have done more with my life.... but in the end I die protecting people from War.... Good game, sends a message that we should all think about and remember.

I played twice. Once where I didn't let harm come to the family and once where I did everything I could to keep the alien alive. I felt like a dick the second time.

Such a beautiful game, the music goes so well with the slow pace of the game, this game really brings out emotions, perhaps something like this has already happened? Why is it the aliens are always portrayed as heartless creatures who only want to destroy, us humans are the only creatures that always destroy, we're all crowded by greed and violence we forget the good nature of all of us. Perfect game, 5/5.

What a short and depressing game.. :c I still really liked it though. I love simple games like this. Simple but powerful.

then again if you think about it... The game may be showing how different people react to different things. If i saw an alien sure i may shoot it once... But if it were protecting people i would instantly stop. So this game may be showing certain peoples emotions to certain things meaning it is telling you to not always look at scary creatures or objects as somthing you need to destroy.

Man, what'd a bunch of farmers and their kids do to deserve getting shot at by 30 soldiers and their tanks and planes?
