This game is amazing...Philosophical...It's beatifully made, and the first time I played it, it brought a tear to my eye. It makes me really think about life, and what it stands for, and what we should do with it. As good as The Company of Myself.

-=SPOILER=-
if you get the girl to the end you die and the girl sits there and you get covered in snow and says Live (forever immortal).

I love how you have to 'read between the lines' to understand a true meaning. I play this over and over again, it's such a great little story game.

i got the meaning.
this, my friends, is the very life in a nutshell.
you are born and grow, you have a family and friends and move on in life.
forward you keep going trying to achieve something, do something, with the ones that you love by your side.
but life is had and you may sometimes stop.
and it threatens you. making you weak. making you old.
and if you don't care for those ho care about you...
you ill die the same way... but... alone...

You can't win nor lose. The achievement is a fun challenge while you enjoy the story paired with the music. I agree, it's sad ending.

i played this game years ago, it came to my mind today to play it again...it's just as sad and nice as i remeber it...

* That said, the game has potential artistically and could have used more thought into the story. A shame it wasn't something more.

"thought provoking", "philosophical." Yet I don't see one explanation of what this message is. The fact that the story is mindless in itself does not make a better argument. It's a cute game about selfless sacrifice against god knows what since that bit is never told. It's like a mix between Twilight and Instagram: it's cool because it's either different and/or popular. Could have used more work to make a basic message which it lacks entirely. Hemmingway was simple but at least he told a story with reasons. This game lacks the basic explanation.

My goodness this game is amazing. I would absolutely love to see a longer version of this game on Steam or something. Would buy it in a heartbeat.

What I got out of it is that humans are either helpless idiots with no sense of self preservation or assholes who'll kill a bunch of helpless idiots with no sense of self preservation.

No matter what I do, I can't get the badge, which means I can't finish the Aliens Quest. Way to pick yet another impossible for no reason badge for a quest, Kongregate.

I didn't find this game to be as striking as the reviews had led me to believe it would... Maybe I'm just not in the right mood to understand it fully?

This game is powerful. Rarely can a game put charectors out there, and give you a sense of urgency and protection. This game nearly brought a tear to my eye. The message is powerful, saying humanity is never friendly to outsiders, no matter the cost. I would strongly recomend this to anyone.
