Doomsurf = the dino has ! above its head (or the dino isn't visible at all because its covered by the doom wave). On my computer doomsurf from the beginning to the end of challenge (easy) level 1 is 59 seconds. (Oh well, I don't have time for any impossible badges anyway.)

I never understood this game. What you can and can't eat, what causes you to speed up and slow down, and the jump mechanics just seem weird. I've tried it on and off over the years and always end up more frustrated than satisfied. Oh well. Appreciate the speedrun/badge advice.

Do yourself a favor and play speedrun on easy. One level and you get the easy badge. Otherwise you'll play the game for half an hour on medium and die on level 6 (final level) and don't get the badge.

Couldn't really find out how to get the easy badge until I read another review. Took me way to long to get it (I solely played this to get the shiny Kongpanion of the week). Pretty boring game, a lot of running, basically using W and D to play this game. I personally don't like it, but I see why people would like it. 3/10.

It's pretty frustrating when people put so much time in the game and don't take it that last little way to make it good. I have NO idea if my stats carry over, I have no idea where I am in the level. GAMERS DON'T LIKE TO FIGURE OUT YOUR GAME. 1/5

If you need more birds, just keep playing the medium challenge. There are more bird opportunities than in easy challenge and the birds don't immediately fly away like in the hard challenge.

its about time i get the impossible badge eh.
I finished all speedruns on insane a fevv years ago but then lost the save after i deleted SeaMonkey, my brovvser at the time. I vvas finally able to grind the milestones in 3 days. Glad to have this out of the vvay. 300 fish milestone took so long to get because the only farm for them (and a small one) is level 4 of challenge mode

For Badge Hunters, it would be nice that the game got updated, since in the lastest version, the golden milestones are lower and it makes the game a little less grindy (And the real difficulty of the badge isn't on chomping 150 birds, for example). Besides that and some weird cases where the Dino gets trapped off the stage or within walls, the game is pretty awesome. And, finally, years after of restarting from scratch, got that Impo badge.

Oh I remember why I stopped playing after the easy badge: because f**k this game! You die, you start from the beginning. YAY, all for a medium badge!!!!

First things first, amazing game I loved it a lot, secondly if your giving it 1/5 because it doesn't explain controls well your wrong, there is a how to play tab on the menu, you just have to open your eyes before you play, and then you might actually like the game instead!

1/5 game does not explain anything to you. heres what i did: i clicked on "start running" and watched some cutscene. after that, i apparently died and now i have to try again??? no i wont try again why werent the controls explained to me at any point of this game? legit havent even played this game and it already left a bad taste in my mouth. also, a sign of bad games is if they use pixelized graphics, which this game does use. that means i didnt actually need to play this game to know it was trash. 1/5 true garbage, wish giving games negative stars was possible

One trick I found is sometimes if you do an air attack, meaning press down while in the air, and you land on a declining surface, you can sometimes get thrown forward some and save time that way. Not sure what triggers it, why it works, or how to do it consistently, but tell you what, the first time I ground pounded and got shot forward, it was pretty satisfying.

For those of you who have trouble with finding fish, here are the locations where I was able to find them: In Level 2, you can come across a place with a bunch of caves with a big boulder on the top left of the area, and you can find around 4 fish in the upper caves. At the start of level 3, there will be a small pond behind you where you can get 1 fish. In Level 4, you will likely come across an area with a waterfall; 2 fish can be found on the top of the area, a couple can be found in the cave inside the waterfall, and a bunch can be found in the water at the end of the caves. At any level, there can be a small opening under a small cliff with a bunch of brown plants around it where you can go left to find 2 fish. Fish will also be at the end of the challenge mode at any difficulty except easy. Note: the cave section in Level 2 can also be found in any level before Level 6. I hope this was helpful! :)

I take it back, this game does have a number of differences to that google easter egg. I HIGHLY recommend listing to "super Mario slide theme" while playing this game
