Good game, but 5 levels is incredibly meager. That there's more that are elsewhere doesn't count. That's like going to the gas station for 10 gallons of gas but only being allowed to buy 3 and told to go across town to get the other 7. I don't care how awesome the gas is, still gonna cheese me off for having to go elsewhere for the rest. 2/5

Simple Facts
Breeze will never run out of resource, risk of being hit by spores.
Catcher collects faster than Slurper initially but resource drains quickly.
Slurper collects extremely fast after upgrade but will provoke nearby plants easily.
Saying that, those who have trouble on level 5, build one breezer at the lowest point possible to the left of your plant, upgrade it twice and place a Bleep DIRECTLY on top of it. Build a block on your flower, upgrade and repair shields and neccesary, upgrade breezer once you hit 120 gold and wait..

Great game, cool concept, surprisingly good for a .org science website. Very well done. Only complaint is that there isn't at least a "restart" button available while you're playing the level, as the game doesn't give you any time to formulate your strategy, so you must restart the game at least once.

Cheaper to sell and replace (10 coins) than to repair (20 coins)?
All you need to do is use blockers, and replace them when they are getting low, straight after a wave.

This is a great defender game, it of course needs more levels but the concept is very refreshingly new with a solid defender style game. Very well made and I'm looking forward to additional levels

Should have put up the full version. After Level 5 it becomes much more challenging and requires real strategy while the five on here at most require rushing to get the plant to grow.

Money collection is way to slow. My defenders are overwhelmed before I can get enough money to repair them. Like the idea, but it really needs to be balanced better.

The best strategy is to place collectors right behind the plants that are already active in the begining if they have a resource behind them because it will be ignored entirely by the enemy. This works on EVERY level....exept lvl 1 cuz there is no automaticly active threat but if your having trouble on lvl 1.....yeah...works a little less well on lvl 5 also but it gets you about 90% or more of the way there if you fully upgrade the catcher fast enough and by then you should be able to trade it in and get a breezer to the left of your plant upgrade it a bit put a defender there and its over.

i realized the things dont attack your collectors if the collectors are far away enough.... so i just ended up with picking one spot near an already likely enemy and upgraded that collector to max and put a block at the home plant and upgraded that as high as I could... in level 4 i put it to max in level 5 i put it to the level right before max... not really hard as people say

I really enjoyed this - but it could certainly have done with a few more levels. Another five would have done the trick, given the number of things you could grow. I was a little disappointed when the game ended at Level 5. Quality game though. Looking forward to more of the same.

This game was easy. Just ignore the Block unit it's useless the middle one is the best for defending your plant and collectors. While the cheap ones are good for defending a single collector that is kind of out of the path of the flying thingys

Game is super easy...just use Block and Slurper only...and try to go near a spore plant that is already activated with Slurper so you don't create more risk....I would use 2 Blocks (one next to my plant and one next to the spore plant I will place slurper by) and a Slurper.

AMAZING game you need to think strategically every game, i wish there were more levels or a level maker, that would make this game unbelivably fun, it makes you go for high risk for greater gain, makes you go for low gain but low risk, the risk screen isnt very helpfull though i looked at the amount of glowing things to see how dangerous it is

It's a good game but it's really short and rather easy (in my opinion) too bad there are only 5 levels in kongregate so 4\5.. My strategy is: use the cheapest defenders and upgrade instead of repair (it's just 10 more gold) also try to keep collectors as far away as possible from the enemy so that they may not trigger them, hope that helps.

When using the menu sometimes it's hard to aim to the option I want and if I want to cancel sometimes i give the order of create something, otherwise good game.

The levels here on Kong are relatively easy. Just apply some risk management and strategic placement of resource gatherers and defenders and you should be able to finish without any home plant damage. The final rating I think is too generous: any damage received to the plant should be an immediate full level reduction in final score rating. I shall now go play some more levels on the main site, and maybe some custom player designed levels?

I went to the website, and they werent kidding, there were 4x the levels. That said, kongregate is for GAMES, not DEMOS! (oh yeah, and tip: never activate a dormant spore unless you have to. Just upgrade a collector to max, hopefully a wind catcher, and just sit there with a blocker defender on it and 2 defenders at your base. Easy wins.
