I miss some sort of scorekeeping. It should be easy to implement. It will also make it more
interesting to play the same level again. Now you finish it at flawless and dont look back.
Shame, because I like the game...

What would make the game more fun, would be to add a powerup that would allow your snake to spit venom/poison at your enemies...anyway's great game XD 5/5

Great Game ! Beautifull reply of the game '' Snake '' . The game is easy but the hardcore mode is here for that :P . In the hardcore mode, the Shadow Snake can't touch himself with his head ( Like the real game '' Snake '' ) . 5/5 Great Game.

I liked it. The game had a gentle flow to it, requiring graceful evasion to evade your enemies while gathering enough of the timed light nodes needed to open the little portal.
Easy and relatively fun. Plus the snake looks epic while invincible ^-^

The snake gets waaaayyy to long in the later levels. I managed to get flawless in the first 14 levels, but 15 is downright impossible to ace. Also, the tail should be more responsive to small movements.

In snake games the body follows the exact same path as the head, allowing for careful evasion of enemies. In this game, the body always takes a slightly different path, making it very difficult to avoid multiple enemies.

Actually this game doesnt really have fresh mechanics, about 3 or 4 years ago I saw a game with the same game mechanics, but no portal in the middle, the pickups let you gain new skills intead... the gameplay itself is very similar to that one, but honestly a bit worse. I wish I could remember what it was called...

how is hardcore mode supposed to work? it seems imposibble because everytime i move away from the portal in the middle, invisible slashes kill me. Am i missing something?

really easy, i've been getting flawless everytime so far. Wish tehre was some description on what the different little gem things do. There are bubbles that turn one of your life points blue/grey, one blows things up, a red one that does something, not sure what and that's only until lvl 6. Not sure if there are more later.

GREAT game, fresh new stylization to the classic "snake" game. Love the new Asian theme to it, only recommendation is better music!

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess reference is clear in the coloring of foes, the final boss, and the Big Wasps (those strange mask things) Just thought I should bring that up. And interesting take on and uninteresting concept. Let's make it clear: this is a great game, not a snake clone, just a game with the same mechanics as snake, with different obstacles.

Fun, but a bit too easy. Also, it becomes very hard to control when you are near the edge of the screen, which is a bit too bad, since that's a natural place to dodge to. If you can't track the mouse once it leaves the flash app, maybe making a "frame" border around it that you can't travel onto but you can still edge into when controlling your snake will stop players from stalling when they hit the edge and suddenly teleporting once they return to the screen?

You need to change the control scheme, having the snake stuck to the pointer it terrible. Have a look at Anamorphous+. I like the fact that you need to manage the snake's tail, and the game is visually excellent with a great atmosphere. However is it too easy for my taste, it lacks a bit of increased challenge after the first 3 levels...

The maker DIDN'T claim to bring revolutionary new gameplay and ideology to this game. The description begins with the words "Stylish arcade game with fresh mechanics." I simply don't understand why everyone seems to expect it to be more than that.

If your reflexes are fast, it's a great game! A couple of times, I've had close calls only to be able to ninja my way out of there... so much fun!!

I feel like the game was a bit easier than it should have been. Regardless, it was fun and enjoyable. It is a good length for what it is. Also, I enjoyed the quotes before each level.

I don't know how it goes for Windows, but in Ubuntu Linux with Firefox 3.6.8pre and FlashPlayer 10, the "snake" movement is extremely jerky. It freezes, then jumps all of a sudden to the opposite boundary. The game is barely playable till approx. level 10 and then with this kind of control it becomes totaly unplayable.

GLITCH, on the boss in hardcore mode i got a shield and ran into the boss at the same time and i was invincible. it was cool and weird
