Okay, no longer such a cute little bug. The game resets my XP back to zero every time I start up. Yes, I'm logged in.
Have you reset your cookies/local storage? Or is it disabled? The game uses the browser's local storage to save your game data. If you want to avoid relying on the browser cookies, you could try the downloadable version on our website.

Just found out that XP progess does not appear to save through the account, so I'm starting over at zero on my tablet. It's a good thing I like this game. Waiting for the Steam version.

The loading screen literally gets stuck at around 95% percent for me, I've been waiting for like 10 minutes now. Even after the refresh, the same.
Try reloading, sorry about this! It should be fixed now. ALSO: Make sure you click on the "Loading" image so it has the browser's focus. Many browsers avoid downloading/processing things unless you click it.

Why has, perhaps with the most recent update, the enemy's usable skills stopped flashing? I admit, I relied on that heavily for reasons of eyesight and poor focus sometimes...
There is a menu setting to enable/disable this. Maybe you accidentally turned it off? Or maybe we accidentally disabled it by default? Either way, check the setting and it should be easy to fix.
Whoops. It's bugged out. Update to the new version and it should work now. If your daily is screwed up, press ` to open the console and type "clearDailyRun". After doing this, it won't log your score to the server today but you can still play the daily.

it's all fun and games untill you start the daily run and start of with 3 scrolls of greed which I immediately used. At that point I had 1 life, no weapons, 3 enemies in front of me and 120 chips, at starting point. It's a great game but it definitely needs some polishing...

Cleric skillsets could have been so much better.
You could have added a skill that goes according to temples e.g. Temple of Kings has a skill that involves a king or Temple of Sevens a skill that involves sevens. Just a suggestion

Another question, is it actually possible to calculate the possibilities of what the opponent has hidden, or what they or I might get next round? For example, they cannot have a hidden card that is visible in my or their hand, because then those would be duplicates. If I gem draw or draw more cards using an item, then I can rule out the cards I just got as well. If I use cards on an item, end my turn and discard or get stunned, I'm assuming they can't have those cards already in their hand, although I've never paid attention to make sure this is true. Are there any more ways to rule out hidden cards? Like is a hand less likely to contain a card that was just used or discarded last turn, or is it all equal chance?
You can calculate the probabilities of what is hidden, but not what shows up next round. Each round is a new shuffle. The hidden cards can't be the cards in play, though, and are drawn from the same 52-card deck.

If you read this, please let me know at least one thing that you believe is important to have, do, or avoid in order to win. I get that you might not want to reveal what you think the "meta" looks like, as that would make the game pretty stale, but I need a clue or something. I'm only asking because I find it so hard to win even on easy, and am starting to think that I prioritize the wrong things, run after run. I've only won once, and although it was on hard, it was only due to the sustained block modifier, the knight, and buying some other block item early on, so I feel like I hard cheesed it. Other then that, I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten past the world 3 boss (are bosses and their stats always the same btw? Should I be planning for them?)
Try playing with the assumption that every feature is important to winning, even if it doesn't look to be powerful at first glance. Everything is designed to be useful at some point, under some circumstances.

Potential bug report: enemy Berserker had a "Attack 29" item. I used my Potion of Weakness on him (and expected 14-15 damage) but when he hit, he hit for 21.
It seems like this is a problem for many new players, so in the next version, we're putting a huge surplus of food in nearly every shop (currently shops carry 2-4 food, we're making it be 6-12 in the next version). You'll therefore be able to buy way more food than you need, most of the time, and should be able to find the right balance a lot more easily.

Are there going to be upgrades that persist through different play-throughs? Maybe I'm missing something, but it doesn't seem like you gain anything other than different heroes as you play.

I have yet to make it through the 3rd level on easy and been playing for 2 days now (yes, I'm using consumables, eating to heal, blocking, buying food, etc..). It's nice that you the developer and your team who know all the tricks can regularly get to the fourth stage, but regular users will just give up and never play again. The game has a lot of promise, it's just WAY TOO hard. There should be some sort of progression for heroes to get stronger that are permanent progressions. Like I said a lot of potential here, but feels very bare-bones right now.

I think Shockstrikes might be broken in this current version as basically it allows for the user to deal guarranteed double damage.
Aside from that, I love that this game is still strong and alive.

I *love* this game, but the food mechanic is brutal and the exact opposite of fun. Every choice in the game is about how to make sure you don't run out of food. I've lost the last 4 consecutive games because of lack of food in Land 3 or Land 4, despite consistently prioritizing food over all else. It's just a BAD mechanic.

Working on the high end challenges; they're really tough. It'd be easier if there wasn't the 20-card limit on cards drawn at a time, then I could alpha-strike with sorceror more readily. but I guess that's part of the reason for the 20-card limit.

Nice little game you have here :) I'm so glad I found it!
Only played a couple hours but I felt the balance felt a bit off. Dislike the bosses that heal and/or block so much you cannot win unless you have the right equipment :(
But totally worth playing!

And further on the topic of lightning: All the dungeon upgrades actually seem like downgrades on the druid at times. Turning lightning into a random curse makes the damage too delayed, it can hit an item which already has a stronger curse applied and well the enemy may just use the item. Then there's the one turning fire into poison which is just horrible against bosses with cure and again delaying the damage oftentimes means missing the kill by a turn and taking another hit.

To beat kraken (3rd boss) on hard you need more than 89 non poison/curse/flame damage per turn? Is it the only option or is there some combo I missed ?
