I had the "can't do shit in the tutorial" as well... and found out that it's because I load Kong at 125% zoom. It makes the content of the tutorial zoom in by a big amount, and the mail window can't be seen. Change your zoom level and back to what you use, you'll see the mail... extremely crappy bug...

@Azula123 The game is niche and complex. It has small,but very dedicated player base. I'm not even in the Untrusted Discord. I just log in every day between 8-9PM CET. Usually around that time group of 10+ players assembles and then we play as long as there are 10+ players willing to keep playing.

Has anyone managed to get into a game without first organising it on Discord? Dev says "Untrusted is a difficult game, with a steep learning curve." - that sounds to me like a game that benefits from having a mix of noob and veteran players. Veteran players won't be abundant if playing your very first match of this requires planning in advance. You gotta find better ways to increase your playerbase, this game is too new to be this dead.

Doesn't work. It loads, but then sticks at 'new mail from undisclosed: welcome. I can't click on anything, I can't type. What am I supposed to do? I just think the game is broken. Too bad.

Would love to report missing badge, but they seem to think the email I've been using since I've been on this site is now invalid. Cool. After changing it to another alt account it worked, but still stupid.

Attempted to play the agent tutorial, the first tutorial tip appears and will not close out preventing me from advancing the tutorial. Have tried clicking the x and close on the tip neither is working, looked for other keys to close the window and nothing is working.

To report missing badges take a screenshot of the screen at the end of tutorial (or other proof you did the required action - your screenshot should also include Kongregate's UID with your profile name), click on "Game bug", select "Missing badge" as message subject, select the badge you attempted to get, attach your screenshot, send it, and wait for reply. You'll have chance to get it awarded soon if done correctly. Or you can also play the other BOTDs of the week and get the minimum 5 BOTDs to see the shiny crown added to your kongpanion by saturday ;) I'm still convinced that Kong's staff should make sure the badges work before validating them as BOTDs...

LOL - the badges are STILL NOT triggering after two months of complaints, the zoom issues are not resolved either... and you decide to make this BOTD? My condolences to those who are gonna receive a lot of complaints tomorrow. Kong, how incapable are you?

@ARBITERREX it seems if you check the comments on this particular game, many people are flagging the issues with badges not being triggered, not being tested etc.
If you want to connect regarding the many other games where the community seems to collectively be unsupportive of the difficulty assigned, the conditions not being viable, or whether certain badges should exist at all - send me a message I am happy to list some of them!
For some of the long-time players, seeing these new badges being created without actually testing/considering the criteria makes the badging approach seem broken.

Sorry but gotta make it a 1-star until badges function as intended. Dev - please flag to Kongregate badges team that they need to incorporate a step of reviewing community feedback (through comments I guess since forums don't exist for most games) into their badging decisions and troubleshooting.

This game shouldn't have badges added initially since the badge does not trigger when the specified badge objective is completed.
There is supposed to be testing whether the badge will work before it gets deployed to this game.

WTF? The badges don't work, and when providing screenshots as clear evidence, Kongregate randomly decides to accept only 1 out of 3 for me.

Seems like all the badges for this game are broken. I previously had to submit a missing badge claim for I'm In and now As A Hacker isn't marking as complete. I haven't tried the other two, but I'm willing to bet they're broken as well.

This looks really interesting but between the weird zoom/resolution issues (i've set my browser zoom to 67% and can now ALMOST see the whole screen lol) and having to join and lurk on a discord just to find a game, it's gonna be a pass from me for now. If things are different one day I'll be really excited to come back though, I'm a loooong time Mafia / Werewolf / Mush / Town of Salem / Amogus enthusiast.

won a game, but badge does not trigger. Game is constantly zooming in when starting tutorials or joining the server, enabling fullscreen and then disabling it fixes that.

To anyone that thinks this game is a good game, JOIN THE DISCORD. This is/n't an advertisement for the game, as if you take a look in there, you'll see people sorta coordinating when to play, loofing for a game/players, etc. If you wanna play this game, you basically have to join the discord, or get reallllly lucky when you randomly hop on this game.
Also to anyone scared about all the roles, once you play enough, you'll eventually realize what 80-90% of the roles do after a couple games, it took me about 5 games (all as different roles)

I've played through the tutorials and the game seems cool! It's definitely complicated so if you don't have time to learn how a ton of different things work or you struggle to learn complicated systems then this probably isn't the game for you. The one thing for me is that I haven't gotten into a real game yet. The servers are pretty dead right now. Maybe if i get on at a different time i could find a game but I'll see. Honestly though if you are interested in this game, try it out!

After paying through both tutorials, I gotta say that this looks extremely cool. It's just unfortunate that the serversare empty, and I don't have the time necessary to learn the ins and outs. You would hae to know about all the classes and the different skills and whatnot. I have too many real-life responsibilities for this. ^^

Only played the tutorial so far, but the mechanics behind the game are awesome. Really looking forward to playing the game with actual people since there's not many players out there atm, but alas, that's hardly something to blame on the dev

The community is small and tight-knit, and some timezones are less popular than others! The peak time is generally between 16CEST-21CEST but varies depending on the day of the week :)
If you join and create a lobby when a game is in-progress, note that you can press F8 to see the online player count and an estimated amount of time until the next game.
We're working with kongregate to try and ease ways to meet up with players, join the discord if you have an account :) everyone is welcome!

I have been playing this on PC for months and it is a great game. It just needs more players because it requires ten players at the very least to play and some time-zones are dead. I registered just to give 5/5. It's not for everyone but it is a great game, if you like to use your brain.

How does that tutorial even work? Are you supposed to click thing press things, there's autoscroll text and then a message appears and then no interaction with the game is possible whatsoever...
Hi, which part of the tutorial are you stuck with? You're supposed to click the flashing envelope when the first email comes in, if it's the basic tutorial. Could you please try pressing CTRL+0 (numpad) to see if it's a zoom issue ? Are you full screen, or windowed ? May I also ask your OS and browser? Thank yoU!

And Kongregate does it again. They keep allowing 2nd rate games onto their servers and wonder why they're losing their player base. Here's an idea Kongregate... Implement QUALITY CONTROL!!!
