JohnSteel is correct, there is a bug. This code should work for all input on Robolamp (level three) -- but it doesn't:

vargilius, yes there are blank inputs (that is to say "robots with no symbols in their tape") where they make sense (for example you could get one if you need to change red for green, but not if you are asked to move the first symbol to the back).
Also, though similar, this isn't a Turing machine (and not just because your state-set is non-infinite). In a Turing machine you can only read an write from the same place, but you can move both forwards and back along the tape.

I believe "Robobugs" is bugged. The robots have the thing on their strip that implies you can use a writer on them, but I don't have the option to place such a thing and the engine keeps sending me things that only fail because they have that stupid thing on them

Firstly, I would like to commend that this is an interesting game which requires thinking. However, sadly to say, the game lacks randomness. ie. If the player has to follow the few test only, then the game would have a fixed pattern in solving the various level.

On the instruction screens it says to right click to advance and left click to go back; however, it should say left click to advance. Clicking the right button only brings up the right-click menu.

dont like some of the randomness and not sure the odd/even binary logic holds up. could use a lot more instructions and examples as perhaps some of us are using similar words with different definitions. a better help file is needed.

There is an error. My sum always gives 10 less than the ranking. I'm currently with 633 and 643 appears in the ranking. Does anyone know why is that?

There are definitely some significant flaws. Take the android level for example. It wants blue followed by the same number of red, so I try clearing it and reprogramming blue red, and it's not happy. If it wants the sequence unchanged, you could need infinite blue detectors followed by the exact same number of red. This can't work in a finite area. If I program it to add red equal to the number of blue(in example, starts as blue, ends as blue red), it still complains. What does it actually want?!?

This game is too hard. The machine's tape changes to find a way around the machine you made to test it. On level 3 is when that starts. Make it easier to get 4/5 it gets 2/5.
