on the first rival larve map my workers are having problems taking stuff back, they just ram themselves into the middle walls about half the time

also can you make it so that larvae can carry more legs,venom,chiten according to the carry weight upgrade?
and larvae becoming bigger according to their armour and attack ratings like small workers could become bigger and have fangs because it is really strange seeing a small worker destroying a entire horde of wasps on it's own
and how about a intel upgrade that makes larvae avoid and attack things you want them to and a vision upgrade that makes them actively go for marked walls

There's a bug on the third map (with the armadillo bugs). My larvae workers fail to leave the upper right rectangle when they are carrying something. They keep running against the wall.

Could you make my larva more loyal? I commanded them to follow the path. They don't. I command them to mine the blocks. They stay with the producer. Its getting annoying.

Keep in mind that imagos and subimagos do not follow trails, only workers do. If your workers do not follow trails, try to draw them slower, workers only follow trails if they touch the green goo.
Checking a wall to be mined does not give the order to mine it, it just allow it to be mined. You still have to use trails to lead workers to it, or to wait that they randomly stumble upon it. Creating new nests to have more (many more) larvae greatly enhance the effectiveness of your colony, and I believe that this should be the first thing to be done when starting a game.

I'm enjoying this quite a bit, I'm nearly at the end of it, and still want to continue. A few suggestions, mostly quality of life improvements. 1: Create hotkeys for Pheromones and Slime Trails, they would make these particular mechanics much more enjoyable, repetitive use of the abilities is basically required for most applications, active harvest management or battle rallying for instance. 2: Add an upgrade for longer lasting slime trails to keep those hyperactive larvae on task a little better. These could be mutually exclusive though, either the ability should be easier to use, or more effective per use, otherwise it just becomes very tedious (not to mention aggravating to those with carpal tunnel.)

1: there already are hotkeys for Pheromones (space) and trails (but I forgot which one ^^)
2: I wasn't sure to add a longer trail upgrade, because more durable trails aren't always more effective.: they HAVE to disappear quickly so that larvae don't get lost when there is nothing left to harvest. But I'll obviously have to do something to make them less tedious to use.

I got some kind of a glitch that makes resources move around the screen on their own. Haven't noticed any harm in it but it's annoying.

Why is it so hard for you little morons to stay on task?! Look. There's a big pile of bees right there. It can't be more than two linear feet from our bug hole. Just run back and forth, dissect them, grab the parts, and lug them home, until the bees are all gone. What in god's name is causing you to wander 30 feet away? There's nothing OVER THERE!!

I really wish the pheromone trail "brush" weren't so intermittent and laggy. Why not implement it as a vector instead, letting us drag a straight line from the origin to the destination? It would be less flexible, but at least I wouldn't be leaving a useless broken trail of dotted lines all over the map. As it is, in order to leave a solid trail, I have to drag it so slowly that it's practically faded by the time I get from one side of the screen to the other.

Gosh, I sure wish the chem trails lasted longer, or that the AI could stay "on task" more often. These larvae are wandering all over the map instead of honing in on the tasks I have set for them. I understand this is supposed to be more sandboxy and less task-oriented, but, as long as I'm going to set myself to the job of micromanaging these little buggers, it would be nice to have some tools that made it more convenient to do so than it currently is.

Idle? Does the game even run, when it's not in the forefront? I've spent a half hour in another browser tab and came back to find that my totals had not changed one bit. I then played with it, toggling back and forth to see if my larvae even change position when on another tab -- they do not. It isn't an "idle" game if you have to keep it in the foreground!

Also, you can scout out where resources are even under the "fog of war" blacked-out map areas, by simply mousing over them and waiting for a tooltip to pop up. Seems kind of chintzy, that.

Now that I think about it, this started right after I unlocked the pink cloud upgrade that makes my bugs attack anything near... There should be an on off switch to this upgrade cuz if I'm trying to mine the wall or gather food all my bugs INCLUDING THE WORKERS want to fight other than do what I'm telling them to do

man I've been in the second zone of the first nest for over an hour trying to collect all 15 lady bugs, and 2 beetles and the plants but I'm still not done thanks to the ant swarm at the top of the map that never ends

my biggest complaint is that even max strength trails don't last long with 10 workers following it. I'd recommend a stronger trail that you can add and remove at will. I know you cant have it too strong or it might never fade.

The larva need to go to work when it is present such as digging and picking up materials. Otherwise it's a wonderful game.

AwesomeMan, sometimes you have to kill all your larva then go back one non-combat area for all the larva to spawn back. If you have a full set of tier 1 workers and no tier 2 or 3 soldiers, the soldiers won't spawn until you suicide all of the workers

There is a bug that annihilated my save after upgrading my foraging power by 10% after killing the queen. It stopped me saving any more progress and erased my save. I don't mind this too much as the game is entertaining enough to hold my interest for I believe several playthroughs. I also have a suggestion below:

when the rival queen's head is used to upgrade foraging speed, the game could reset everything except for the foraging speed, erasing all progress but the foraging speed increase, then a high score board could be implemented to show the fastest times people have taken from the progress resetting to killing the rival queen again

Several bugs to report. 1) Items are disappearing. 2) Items and bugs are floating around the screen. 3) Larva get stuck or run around in circles. 4) Pheromone acts twice. -MORE- 1) When shiny things disappear the game cannot progress. 2 and 3) This happens more as the game progresses. Especially after upgrading your hive after killing the queen. There seems to be a connection between this glitch and the number of sprites on the screen. 4) This is annoying. It's difficult to direct the larva when the pheromone sends them the wrong direction.

i have 4 big nests and the queen is not spwaning them. not only that, i have 1 of the biggest nest and it is not spwaning the big larvae

Err, not sure how to reply, but I mean like a reverse-pheromones to repel my guys, preferably to help me get the little drones away from big one-hitting enemies like shelob. Honestly, any and all kinds of extra control would be lovely. Once you unlock the 'pheromones causes attacks' skill it becomes impossible to get the big guys to attack what you actually want them to.
