Oh, thanks game. I would have had no idea that my shields were low had you not put SHIELDS LOW on top of the screen. Sure, my ship blew up, which I guess is a decent hint, but no, text is the way to go here.

Artwork and animation are okay, but this is probably one of my most-disliked 2D shooters.
Prices are unbalanced (laser is better than much more expensive wingmen) and all in all I find the gameplay to be poorly executed. It attempts to be a bullet hell game, and most of the elements are there, when it's actually a mob fighting game. Instead of facing boss after boss with lots of bullets, there are actually quite few and instead you have to kill 10 enemies every second spawning on opposite sides unpredictably and in a very hard place to hit without getting hit by solid lasers.
WASD is noticeably faster than mouse and tapping the keys can sometimes lead to you flying in that direction for a second or two, normally through multiple bullets, and completely destroying any combo you were trying to make.

Regarding Blizzards top comment, do NOT get electric wingmen for the survival segment. Those wingmen don't do stuff all, even at max. Get laser wingmen and save yourself the trouble.

Hey. I remember playing this game back in 4th quarter of 2009 except I used to play the 1st episode (in normal mode), the boss rush (which is located in extra modes) and even the 5th level of 1st episode in practice mode on "easy" difficulty at that time. I could go for that medium badge but maybe later.

Cool game! Now we just need bullets that shoot bullets that shoot bullets that shoot bullets, as well as power ups that shoot bullets that shoot bullets and finally coins that shoot bullets that shoot bullets that shoot- Well you get the idea. I'm also thinking a massive laser gridlock should appear for some of the bosses, forcing the player into certain patterns as they try to dodge. Also, the specials are really nerfed when it comes to bosses, perhaps add a boss resistance pierce multiplier? Otherwise I love this! :D
