Very fun game with a good aesthetic. Reminds me of old web games. Good aesthetic, fun gameplay, and short to boot. I hate these long, time-wasting incremental and idle games, so a return to this form is nice. And there's no 'end' or 'game-over' screen, so I could theoretically play infinitely if I so wanted to.

A good starting point with a really good aesthetic but it doesn't really have an end game or even the perpetual 'big numbar get bigger' of more conventional idle games. A bit of plot would be good too. keep up the good work though

"The people right in front of me are getting swept into the air by an invisible force and being boiled alive in that cauldron over there... I better investigate."

i like when the spell is their and they try to walk away and its like "YAY! I SURVIVED! YA- " and they just get turned to dust.

If this becomes a full game, there should me more customizable mechanics like certain things you can summon to attack villagers automatically. Just more diverse content than other idle games.

In all honesty, I wouldn't want to see this turn into an idle game. If there was just a little bit of a story, some creepy witch-y stuff going on, and some 'ultimate power' spell or something to finish it off I'd thoroughly enjoy it

i bet he forgot about this, or is still struggling to make a full game out of this, OR ALREADY MADE A GAME OUT OF THIS IN UNITY OR SOMETHIN' :T

I loved the game! The graphics, the gameplay, very nice! I would love to play more. Maybe you should add a little history? And make the humans attack the witch's hut. Also when we upgrade her home, strongest humans should come maybe?

i love it but it keeps crshing :( and loses its save data so i have to start all over again :( aside of that i love it :)

(One villager) "So tell me if I have this right- We all are gonna walk towards the witch's fortress, where hundreds have died, get killed by cauldrons, spells, and bear traps, and we aren't gonna do anything?"
(Other villager) "Yep!"
First villager) "Sounds good!"

Has lot of potential, please do not turn this game into an idle , in fact I think it would be great if you can make the game more interactive with the final goal of destroying the village and defend the castle.

I love this game! My only problem is some the bois get turned around especially w/ the bear trap i'd like it if they always walked towards the caldron. Thank you, please keep making amazing things!

Love this. Can imagine a wisp or gargoyle or something for the ''idle'' option, that flies around, nabbing villagers, and dropping them in the pot. Overall, really, really hope this continues to grow.

I really liked the feeling of being some all-powerful witch. I do want to see more villager reactions in the future (do some get scared? do some fight? etc)
I think making it too combat based or idle-based would take away from the fun but haunting atmosphere of the game.
My suggestion would be to maybe add branching options? Maybe upgrades that either let you be subtle and undetected by the villagers or one that is very outward about the power she has (and attracts a lot of angry mobs & battle). Maybe there can be a power vs suspicion trade-off where those who play aggressively get many souls but also get into a lot of combat. And others can quietly siphon souls leaving them none the wiser.
I like the health bar suggestion people give, but I personally want to play sneaky like a "people who wander into the woods never come back out and no-one knows why"-type witch
Love the game though!

I like the game. its too short and once you get all the upgrades it gets boring but it can be fixed. the upgrades could be more pricey to make you work more for them. I feel like this is meant to be an Idle type game but maybe you can have a separate game mode where you might have to survive waves with different types of enemies. achievements could also be added to get more souls. also when you drag enemies high in the air and let go, they just fall and get back up unfazed. maybe add it to where you can get like a satisfying snap at least. overall good game 9/10

great game needs more fleshing out though for sure. I think the upgrade system is decent, but could got into various different ways as the game is developed/improved. I definitely see different modes, health bar for attackers and the witch, different enemies, talents, and anything away from an idle as great additions to this game...as well as some idle component cause thats all that seems to sell these days.

what direction do you see this going, glaring is the lack of an ending, different modes of game play could have different endings, ending fully idle, tower defense (protect) endless mode, i think this hinges on filling in the villager backstory, are they there to steal, can they escape and tell others, more differences in villager types, you actually completing a ceremony with them trying to stop you, decision making of completion vs defense vs self amusement. i enjoyed how you kept it low stress, but others may not. timed, day night cycles, the lure of "what's going to happen next?" should be exploited, with decision making paths excluding certain outcomes. you're a story teller with the player as the protagonist.
thank you for a polished, enjoyable demo.

I do really enjoy the sound design of this game. The gurgling when villagers die by the trap or the cauldron and even the sucking sound when their life force is added to the counter is really satisfactory.
