I don't really like the cave runner type games in general. This is the first one I've found enjoyable for more than 5 min or so. Simple, with a dash of innovation.

For those who are curious about whether the game features bots, I can assure you it doesn't.
A good way to check this is to go to the 'Hall of Fame' and watch the best plays from today's game. You can see the people on Kongregate's official leaderboard for today are, in fact, also the ones who make it further than everyone else in the game. For instance, when I left this comment Georgie_Leech had a leaderboard score of 255,917, and in the Hall of Fame you can watch him run 2,559 meters.
It's been pointed out that disconnecting your computer from the network doesn't prevent the game from displaying other players. That because the game fetches a batch of other people's runs during the preloader. Then, if it can't fetch any more, it simply continues to display those.

This is not MMO game at all. Those "players" are AI. They are generated by your computer, not human-controlled. To prove that, just unplug your LAN wire or turn off your modem.

I think the reason I'm so addicted to this oversimple one click race is beacuse at the end when i see just how many people failed before me, i feel good about myself.

Definitely needs sounds. It'd be cool if all characters could make sounds, not just the one you control. Maybe a different pitch of jump sound depending on the character's jump upgrade level... make them all in the same key so that if there's a bunch jumping at once it would sound pleasing to the ear and might make a sort of music

Great take on Canabalt. A few minor suggestions:
• Show my name on past games instead of just "your past game". I like my name.
• Have a daily top ten list in addition to the "hall of fame" replays. Kong's daily high scores aren't sufficient since they roll over at a different time.
• In the "hall of fame" replays, have an option to select a player from the top ten for the camera to follow, rather than just having it follow whoever's in the lead at a given moment.

Is it a bug on my end or is there no music? There should be music.
Also, alternate buttons would be nice - I'm inclined towards spacebar, for instance.

It seems that if you start the game directly after you died, the flowers haven't grow yet, so you get 4-5 only each time, instead of 10-20. Realistic, nice done.

Needs something like "sixth sense" skill to detect obstacles earlier. It's really annoying when i jump only to get killed by a rock

not so good. upgrade costs don't scale well and only 3 types of upgrades is not interesting. map stays the same meaning it gets very boring seeing the same 500m over and over. no music.

Very nice game! But it is pretty boring without music.. And by the way; you get 1 additional flower for every 4 seconds you're running
