Here is some more words with Q and X (adding onto Mmmchips) All are suffixes:
-CAL: quixotical.
-IES: exequies, quixotries.
-ITE: exquisite.
-ESS: exquisteness.
-SES: exquisitenesses.
-LLY: quixotically.
-SMS: quixotisms.
Rather than scrambling I suggest completing the words with the prefix only. This way it changes the suffix faster than waiting for the scramble button to appear.
Please + if you think it is useful. :)

I am really enjoying this game.. or would be, if not for the RIDICULOUS w/k bit. Now, I've got a fair vocabulary (I plugged away at it for an hour, hit 27 on the high score list) and STILL didn't get either a 'bac' (I can probably bluff through the assorted 'back' log) or 'ing' once.. I'm now just clicking end and play again in the hopes of getting one. Any chance of a pre-start randomise that doesn't involve restarting, dev?

After consulting a dictionary and Goggling some of the words I think I made up, I believe there are some spelling errors in here (quadrioxalate???). However, this games has the broadest vocabulary of any game like this I have ever played. Being able the play acronyms, proper nouns and slang in great.

barely made rank 7, hit a lucky prefix for the silly w+k thingy. i give up on rank 8. too hard on a non-native speaker imo. still 5/5, fun game

For W and K (rank 8), just restart until you get the prefix "bac". There are more than 15 words beginning with "backw..."

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just tried getting ING as the ending to start so i could write down as many ING words as i could think of (well as much as the paper could hold) and when i started after 19 words it just automatically switched endings to ATE, got some words out of it but not much considering i was taking time to figure out what happened, i had 130 words down too, waste of my time thank you
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Can anybody answer this for me: when having a letter challange (for example the w and k) does it have to be in one game or spread out, even with the wordlist I can barely spot words with available prefixes and suffixes which severely lower the odds.

I think I might possibly be the only person here on Kongregate who got the hard badge legitly, without the use of any word lists or comments listing answers. This is a word game, and it's meant to be difficult. What is the purpose of playing the game if you are just typing in words someone else has listed, when you don't even know what they mean? If you want to earn it genuinely, prefixes and suffixes are the way to go.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game is good and very challenging until you crash into sick achievements. Soon you realize you will never know those "kw" or "qx" words all by yourself and go searching help.. in the comments.. till you find the developer response in a top comment which advise you a site that basically allows you to cheat at this game... woot? That's a spoiler!! Challenge ruined, you just got to be lucky and copy faster than others. I would never have known that site without your help, and hey it's a very good one to know so thank you :) but in the meantime all the fun ends: you set a highscore or two then get bored and quit. 4/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
what mmmchips said. Those are very important. I wish you could edit comments on Kong because I would tell him to come back and add this to his post since it's already voted up so high. http://words-with.com/q-and-x.html One good way to handle this is to try and start with -one as you can use the time you get at the beginning to wipe the medical/chemical terms out. This leaves you with the shorter words you can belt out right away when you see a bubble letter come down.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, I also rattled off elements when -ium came up.
Also, you don't need to be a native speaker... just read a lot. My brain came up with words I'll hardly ever use, but still know, apparently ^^

15 words with W&K...

Yeah 130k points as a non native speaker.
I think as a non native speaker you have the disadvantage of not knowing so many words, but the advantage is that you try out a lot more words.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@stratus 169: Most of the words you have listed cannot be typed in the game because theres no prefixes or suffixes needed for that :/. Thanks anyway.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Somehow I got 39,000 points! I was trying to get 10 qx words (which didn't happen). The only way I could guess that I got so many points was that I got a lot of time and this happened I think because I was able to use qua- to make a lot of words. (I got 20 and it reset the prefix). By the time that was done I was at nearly 8 minutes.

I am a fast typer and there is a major lag in the game system. would love to be able to have the game keep up with me.

for all of those, having problems with last (for now:) rank: quadplex, quadplexes, quadratrix, quadratrixes, quadrioxalate, quadruplex, quadruplexed, quadruplexes, quadruplexing, other words you can find here: http://words-with.com/q-and-x.html, enjoy

How many words with K and W are there? I mean only those that we can use with prefixes\suffixes in the game. Because i find beating level 8 requirements extremaly difficult. Oh, btw reaching to lvl 9 should be impossible badge not just hard.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There are exactly 26 words with both Q and X. Of those, about 10 are impossible to use due to missing suffix/prefixes.
...
YOU JERK!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There are in fact 26 word containing q and x. no more than 3 with same suffix though. qui and exq suffixes (if the latter exists) are your best chances.
