The artifacts are a step in the right direction, but at the moment all they have done is make the runs much quicker. Until you remove the hard cap on the team guns upgrades it will be impossible to make any kind of realistic progression. The team guns need to be upgradable to at least 1000 if not 2000.

Went their website to check out the Artifacts, did not spent any points, hit the back button to come back to Kongregate and was reset back to level 1. Went back to their website and was still reset. 5 Star rating changed to 3 Stars. Losing 1 Star for forcing me to go off site and 1 more for whatever happened to my save.

I don't know what happened, but my progress got completely wiped. I had 91 time cubes! Now have zero...didn't hit any reset or nothing... :'( (back to the turoial also)

Just had a failed save. Was on the lvl 95 mini boss. Set all the way back to lvl 60. that hurts, not really, but yeah something failed.

Forcing a move to your website for artifacts is not cool. Especially since the code is available at kongregate already (e.g. copy your save from outside website into kongregate and your artifact bonus is still there). I'm dropping my rating to reflect this trickery.

Just had a rebirth where I got to lvl 111, got 3 cubes from lvl 110 and 0 from lvl 100 =/ Bit confused and disappointed!

The Time Cube rewards, even with the artifacts, are amazingly low. They either need to drop few cubes for SURE, or a chance at a lot more cubes.

@ Bud, you have a 25% base chance of time cubes showing up at all in any boss level after 100, long story short you're getting screwed by the random number generator.

Artifacts are on Kong - you have to activate them on another site that uses the same save file - no export/import file necessary

Is it intended that team mate upgrade achievements are effectively prohibiting you from using x25 buy mode? (counts only amount of upgrade clicks, not the levels added)
That achievement is only for doing the Upgrades, not regular level ups. We don't actually have an achievement for regular level ups since they are limited by promotions. We're planning something different for after level 500...

I think the gun is absolutely useless after the 20s. I mean, I still did some damage during the late 20s to early 30s, but mid-late 30s going forward, the gun is useless.

This has become one of my favorite idle games, and is a big inspiration for the game I'm making.
The only thing that I think could really enhance the game would be the ability to purchase different weapons besides the Click Pistol (say, a machine gun or a shotgun, etc.)

I wonder if my suggestion for kong purchasables hadn't been so prolifically downvoted; would they have left artefacts in their kong version and put in kong purchasables.
Damn those pesky developpers, wanting to get paid for their time and effort. It's almost like they think this game is worth money or something.

Based on some of the chat and comments I've seen - here's some useful info on the artifacts: You don't need to import/export save file to go back and forth between Kongregate and Timeclickers.com. Whatever you save on one site automatically saves on the other. When you activate artifacts on TimeClickers.com, they automatically activate on Kongregate as well. I recommend bookmarking or top-barring both sites for quicker transition if you prefer to play on Kongregate. There's a chance that this might be temporary if the devs can find a better source of in-game income.

The artifacts purchased at time clickers are active on kong too, you just can't look at them for some reason, and have to go back over there to purchase more.

Dont really think the artifacts did anything for the game other then faster runs. it still make 0 sense to go over 125
Agreed. We're working on some balance right now. For example the DPS modifiers will do ( DPS * (10^Level)) instead of just (DPS * Level). Also StartGold is being balanced to work better with StartWave. The goal is to make it possible to get to later waves.

may get a lot of hate for this but, the dev did not screw us over, we can export out game to his site if we want artifacts. Now that's not saying that he pulled an asshole move but from his point of view, it makes a lot of sense to do this since he'll get more money but doing it.

I switched over to he developer's website to use artifacts, and the game is MUCH slower there (less than 1 frame per second), even though it's supposed to be the same game and the same Unity plugin.

Also, only 3 cubes on 105+? I could STILL run a new game faster and get more out of that. There's no reason to go past wave 100 as the game is now, you NEED to make the Time Cube rewards worthwhile in the first place. If ya don't, then there's no reason to keep playing after this- especially with you being an arse and locking artifacts from us.

So instead of being fair to the people who have been playing this game since the start, you decided to screw them and everyone else over. Yep, screw you- it's one thing to lock content if it's a demo version, but there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to lock Artifacts from Kong users. Screw you.

To be fair, it does cost money to keep electricity and servers running and whatnot but was it really more profitable to create a mandatory middleman step in the gameplay rather than to offer micro transactions in an optional in-game shop? If you added collectible cards that offer passive bonuses (with pictures from historical figures/events and future tech), there would have been plenty of consumption in the shop for booster packs and whatnot.

I applaud any way for you to get paid properly for this game, but making people go to your site is not the solution you're looking for. I can not actually play the game there due to lag, so I have to just go there for activating artifacts. That gets annoying extremely quickly.
Another thing that keeps bothering me is that critical burst (or at least, the upgrade that increases it) isn't included in the dps calculation, which screws with the math.

people are so stinking cheap!!! Down voting a game because you don't like that you have to go to the developer site to play it? That is so lame. Gamers today want everything for free and hide behind some notion that people will pay out of good will. Such BS. I think the devs should make artifacts premium only feature and force you to pay them 5 bucks to unlock it, on their site and on kong. That way whiny little brats who don't spend money will go somewhere else to watch ads that they will never ever spend a dime on. You want something for free or with no effort? Go to sleep and dream about it.

actually, better yet, have a tab selector that can loop over the 5 weapons using up-arrow/down-arrow or w/s key, then left-arrow/right-arrow or a/s can toggle 1x's/25x's and space bar can do the upgrade. more intuitive than key bind I said a minute ago.

please add key bindings for upgrading the different weapons. I'd be fine with q-pistol, w-flak, e-rifle, r-particle. this way, I can upgrade while my pistol power up are going off and I don't have to move my target off the cubes to click the upgrade. TY

I'm a little bit confused about the upgrades for the Flak-Cannon and the Spread-Gun. They'll never miss? I didn't realize that they are doing this at the moment. Can you explain this upgrade please? :-)
Since both the Flak Cannon and Spread Rifle have multiple targets they can miss. For example the Spread Rifle can target 3 blocks, if there are only 2 remaining that 3rd bullet misses and does no damage. The 'Never Miss' artifact makes it so that the 3rd shot will target one of the remaining blocks.

On top of my other note, I'd also like to add one more thing to which I have noticed over the previous day. I find myself thinking about what upgrade to get and when to start over, costs, ect. However, I can't simply check and be done with it going to your site (as your game forces us to get artifacts there). It is becoming more and more cumbersome the more time passes. Please patch it so that we can do it all on Kongregate, and be grateful to those of us who will visit your site out of our free will. Otherwise, you will find that people will slowly, but surely walk away from your game and you will lose valuable insight and interest because of things like this.
