One of the best games on the internet for sure! I'm a final fantasy junkie and this gave me all the wonderful comforts of magic, abilities and secrets on maps and in the game. Great storyline, a little too much at times, but it is definitely necessary to have it like that. Love the names of the weapons, armor, etc... Perhaps a pre-mardek game with the story behind his father, and maybe the king as his sidekick, with Deugan's dad as well? Just a thought lol. Anyways, 10 out of 10, no doubt.

there should be a quicksave mode, so we dont have to go to a save crystal to save. other than that, epicly awesome game.

This is Time-Consuming. It`s my 4th Day playing Mardek. And I`m in love with it like the very first day. :) I`m gonna review this Game on my YToube channel and, yeah, it deserves a 10/10. Everyone who loves this Final Fantasy/Chrono Trigger-kinda RPG`s should give this one over here a try. Mardek rules. Even if he doesn`t know what a menu is. X)

overall great game! For some reason though i didnt get the achievement when i killed the dragon. confused on that part. hopefully it will unlock by the time im finished the story...

I've been wondering: how does the reaction formula work? like for defense reactions: say the enemy would have done twenty damage, and you have a damage soak 10 and damage -20% equipped. does it factor the percent first, leaving 16, then the soak for a total of six? or the other way around, soak and then percentage for a total of eight? with smaller numbers it doesnt matter all that much, its just a difference of two or maybe three, but Im curious.

This game is a radically good Flash RPG that is the best one I have seen. The storyline is good, and the mix of retro graphics with great battle graphics makes for a very refreshing game. Mixed with a good bit of humor, and simple controls, the game redefines how Flash RPGs should be made.

hey creator dude.. um i know i dont see alot of comments preteaining to this much but if you could please look itnto it it would be great um for sum reason the z to cancel dosent work and as you can see my zzzzzzzzzz works fine so i really really like the game but now im stuck cause i tryed to use an ability and i dont have enough mp so i have to restart really really really far back so if you could please look into it for me its been a consisting problem with the first and this one and besides that 5/5 better than the first 3 final fantasys for sure :D

Sugestion: Great game, but it could have a speed up button at least on the map making it faster (for those who want) to get into battles and learning the skills that requires that you battle to earn a "point" in a faster way.

This game is just AWESOME.
Long story - it took me like ~6.5 hours to get ALL badges and achievements ;).
The story - it's just even better.
Funny dialogues - that is just... Well.. I love those :D.
Ofcourse theres also few mistakes and bugs, but still - 5/5! And favourite ofcourse!

@Escheton: I think most RPG game will block all kind of magic with magic shield that includes healing, I think Final Fantasy game does that too.

@newjoakimnew: Messages that dont add anything, or are just bashing on the game get voted down to make it easyer to find the usefull messages. Don't take it personally.
@bluerabbit: yeah, if you have mastered the skill that for instance a sword gives, it still only works if you have that sword equiped.

What I don't get is... When I've mastered a technique, when I uncheck it does it stop working even when mastered? PLZ HELP

I really enjoyed this game. I loved playing this a few years ago, but I got discouraged when I got stuck repeatedly having to fight the Saviors with only mardek alive. Now, with the improvements, this game is easily one of the best on the site.

Rare equipment drops: the Zombie Locksmith - Keyblade; Trilobites - Earth Staff; Abominations - Onyx Ring and Shadowblade, Zombie Warrior - Greataxe; Fallen Soldier - Kite Shield; Zombies - Polearm and Mace. It may be worth it to you to grind for the drops before advancing the plot: though some items aren't usable by you in this chapter, others are quite powerful (giving each character Onyx Rings makes the Zombie Dragon fight easy.)

I'm really enjoying playing through these Chapters. The throwback to my RPG origins along with the hilarity provided by the dialogue make the game excellent.
I haven't laughed this much at an RPG since I played Earthbound!

Does anyone know the correct sequence in A man53's message? I have 1, 2 and 4. One of which was the zombies. So I don't know which I am missing. Anyone have an idea?
