uggh...Just spent hours grinding the unique item stats into my people.... Then i realized i forgot to get the trilobite key from the zombies in catonia... THEN accidently saved over my endgame save so i couldn't use it for #3 anymore:(

Forget just flash games, this is one of the most enjoyable games I've ever played! Such lovingly crafted game. I hope one day when all 8 chapters are out the devs put them all together and get this up on Steam or something, easy money!
I'm going to be pretty bummed when I finish chapter 3 though =(

Love the way you lvl up allows for pricise understanding of who is ahead and help in the midde of battle 5 out of 5 could not find 1 thing wrong

@me: JK! At least the "ether crystal" exists, according to a book in trilobite cave, so my hypothesis concerning the crystals in Mardek's world

@phamen: To my knowledge, such people don't exist. Qualna (from MARDEK 3) was Aether, but he's not human, either. I think this is becuase there aren't elemental crystals for fig, aether, and divine on Mardek's planet.
If such a person WERE to be born, though, they'd definitely be *FOREVER ALONE* (;

when emela followed behind the group at the first mission she follows, i went to the bed in the male dorms and took advantage of the way the group follows (its possible for emela and the character to be in the same bed xD)

Tip although your deduction is quite skilled it is stated in the book elements and breeding (right book shelf in the magic shop) in a relation ship if one parent is a moral element then said morale element takes dominance in breeding. So both Enki and Gonorath would have to be right for you to be correct. Nice deduction skill though. :)

SPOILER ALERT! (maybe) Just realized: In the People section of the Encyclopaedia, at the end of each name comes a prefix with the element of that person and after it comes a derivative of that person's father. This last thing points out that Enki (Mardek´s father) and the King are brothers.

A nice touch would be if you could recieve some kind of counselin from the shaman or the priest if you talk to them at the very end

"It will be aight chapters long"
err, the dev seems to have totally given up the fourth (he didn't even finished the third's walkthrough). So we'll probably never see a fourth chapter. That's sad. Really sad.

P.S. The Vim skill for the final battle pretty much gives you auto-revive, FROM THE ENEMY - Moric will repeatedly cast Zombify on dead allies, and Vim gives 100 % Zombify resistance, so you get revived with full HP, and no added side effects.

@Phamen Yeah, Emela is actually only really good for earth enemies ( You'll see those the most ), and probably the arena battle ( don't recall that too well ) so you might as well pick up Zach as soon as you can, and make sure you have Mardek and Vehrn use the Vim skill ( or the item, bonestone or something ), for the final battle.

Advice: SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!! Dont waste too much time training Emelea or Deugan since the power wont carry over. Vehrn and Zach however keep their power so its worth spending abit empowering them.

I want to beat this series but never get around to it. I got 1/2 through ch.3 but couldn't motivate myself to finish. :(

The MARDEK games are simply genius. Just genius. Fun pixel graphics, great old-school music, generous sprinklings of humor, well-thought-out backstories and plot, and generally an immersive and engaging experience. It was not a hassle at all to replay the new versions of Chapter 1 and 2. MANY, MANY thanks, Pseudolonewolf! Your games are EPIC! 5/5

I never realized how extensive this game was. I've played this many times, always getting stuck on the "opposing team" in that one dungeon that kicks my butt every time, but have never "explored" or backtracked. This time around, I've made sure to , and holy-crap-there's-so-much-cool-stuff! The gem mines have all this armor and money, and I'm going to try to get the Easter Egg cravingradishes mentioned. This game is more complex than I thought, which now bumps up my previous rating from a 4/5 to a 5/5.

@Megazeroxtreme I am starting to think it is both, because the main character of that party is 'Bartholo', and the three characters that most embody their counterparts (Bartz, Lena, Galuf) have their descriptions in the encyclopedia almost matching the actual characters. Ex: In V, Galuf is an old man who's past is a mystery until half way through the game, where you find out that he is a king. Bernard in this game is described as 'An old man who doesn't appear to fit in with the saviours at all... He is a potent spellcaster, but is rather mysterious...'

I lost my save on my old computer (I had almost 100%ed chapter 3) but I don't mind. This just gives me another excuse to play this through again!

if you go to the room in the gem mines next to where you defeated muriance(the room with the 4 treasure chests)while you have aqualung activated, you can walk up to the lake and press x,where a message comes up saying you can to dive in in chapter 3

@darthead45 I believe it is a FF1 reference. There is a warrior, a thief, a white mage, and a dark mage, which is the default set of classes in the first Final Fantasy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Did anyone else catch the Final Fantasy V reference? Those four adventurers you fight in Tainted Grotto are based off of Bartz, Lena, Ferris, and Galuf.

I have reported the missing “Cambrian Champion Badge” twice with the screenshots of the champion sword(the reward of the tournament) and the dialogue with the bar barkeeper after finishing the tournament. I think any of it can confirm the badge but I still haven't got it,which make me have no enthusiasm to play the 3rd chapter with a much greater content. Please tell me what kind of screenshot should I take if these two don't work?
