"easy" badge. I don't even think it's possible to beat the bandits. The first real enemy. There's just no way. They just heal themselves and your healer guy runs out of mana.

I thought the idea of games was that they gradually get harder as they progress. I tried it a few times, and was always dead by the end of the second or third encounter. Over the course of these games I managed to open a single chest. For what is supposed to be an "easy" badge, I really can't see how it can be anything but medium.
For something this tricky, the characters could have done with being equipped with some potions or method of resurrecting each other rather, or even a few health potions. That would at least give them us a chance, rather than just watch helplessly as the hit point counter slowly drops to zero.

Ah, nostalgia. Although I already have today's badge, thank you so much for reminding me of this incredible series made by one of the best game creators out there.

After me reading previous comments about how the effort you have to undertake in achieving this badge I have just decided that I'm not going to be even trying. Moving on....

If your issue is that it takes longer than your five-minute attention span... well, I can't help you with that. Maybe try playing games with the intention of enjoying them instead of squeezing out the badge of the day and never playing them again.

Really not sure what people are complaining about. There's 18 chests in the gem mine alone (going back after defeating Muriance), so all you need is two more chests. Take your pick, there's a chest in the Hero's Den, the Goznor Sewers, and the Soothwood, you only need two more if you're only here for the badge.

@bonestheninja Muriance doesn't require any grinding! None of the fights in this game do, aside from maybe the Zombie Dragon. If you're having trouble, be sure to have Deugan hold some of your potions so he can heal in combat if necessary. Also, remember that Mardek's heal spell can target multiple allies by pressing the right arrow key.

Nice "easy" badge.... after nearly an hour of scouring the playable map I reach 19 chests before encountering an impossible boss. Impossible if you don't want to spend hours grinding until you can beat it. Which I'm not at all interested in.

@Uroshuchiha This badge replaced another badge at some point, according to a comment from Greg somewhere here. Must have gotten the medal before then.

To all the undying fans of Mardek: this is it people, Pseudolonewolf is finally considering making the next opus, and wants your opinion. So if you're still looking forward to Mardek 4+, then massively post your responses to his message following the thread below: https://tamingmind.com//227

Hi fellow fans! I came from a group(authorized by Pseudo) that wants to continue the Mardek franchise, all grassroots. We are kinda undermanned, though, so any help (code, music, art, dialogue, mechaics, writing, etc) is appreciated. Find us here: https://discordapp.com/channels/541634974273503242/599659864725127217

Z for cancel and X for confirm is really a pain for me, since there are lots of games where Z is confirm while X is cancel(for example the medival cops series, the tales of nebezem series)

to anyone looking, the trilobite key's near the save before you fight the "heroes", it doesn't have a chest but is still on the map. i suspect it's used to fight this secret dragon, so make sure to pick it up.
"you can't dive in, even though you'd like to. maybe next chapter?"

My only criticism is how long it takes to master passive skills. Would be nice if it counted all creatures in the combat instead of just 1 AP per combat. Still a 5/5 game :)

It's pretty unusual that I feel a need to comment any game, but this one makes me feel like this. There is a very great game play (easy to use but also capturing attention), a very great story (I love the background of using elementary magic an the historical myths you use. Arrw, really, well-conceived. I clicked every bookshelf. <3 ), pretty cool and funny but also serious dialogues, self-critical game-jokes, a very good character - progress, ect. The only thing to find fault is the font some Anunnaki use. Really, I wish I could give you 6/5 stars. ;) Great work! Thanks for these wonderfully hours of playing!

That moment when Steele died just so the could fit 5 people down the hallway that only 5 people wide could fit through

After 12 hours of gameplay and 3 hours of grinding specifically for the zombie dragon... I've defeated him with Mardek alone!

Uff, finally realized, that you can move the cursor to the right when using "Heal". That way the whole team gets picked which was super helpful against the shaman

I´m probably an idiot always saving in the same slot, but it sucks that I cannot achieve the other 2 badges now after entering the ship without a saved back up :(. Would have been nice if it was possible to still continue even after completing the game

I really like this game, however I cannot get the save menu to work. Every time I die, I have to restart from the beginning. If I close the window, I will have to start all over.

How the hell did I missed this masterpiece for years?
BTW, it took me almost the entire game to discover that if you press the left arrow you can make a spell affect every enemy. :v

*encounters some bandits and immediately start attacking*
