honestly, I had 9 minutes left on the timer and 3 pheonix downs on each character, I could have taken that Dracelon with ease.
but I guess the story needs to move forward :P

lol quickblade, i found out what goes wrong. apparently we save whilst we are in the middle of a step. to solve the problem you can just warp out with mardek...
also i heard someone say that at the end all the chars leave mardek, would it be practical to take all their equipment beforehand? =]

dang glitch someone needs to fix it. in the arena for trilobyte badge sometimes one of the enemies u kill doesnt die and u cant hit it so now i cant get passed the round!!!

O well, I started over again. And it was just as good the second time just to be able to fight the zombie dragon. Excellent game. Can't wait to see what the next chapter has in store.

I had to kill about 50 of them before getting the key. Sometimes you are just unlucky ^^. Nah, I think there is somekind of bug in it. But it will drop after some time. A long time...

@Allysson08: um, you did pass by the locked door saying "escape pod hatch" (or something similar) on the way up, right? Just backtrack to the first floor.

ummm....beat moric the second time....then some countdown thing happened...I've looked all over...but I can't find a way off of the ship....is there some kind of conclusion to this game...or am I just stuck?

This was actually the first game I gave a 5/5 rating on Kongregate; the gameplay's fun, the music's nice and I just love the jokes in this!

Finally finished it, but since I saved it at the end screen it always loads at the final cutscene and takes me right back to the end screen again. Why can't I go back and look for the trilobite keys or the zombie dragon thing? I really don't want to have to start all over again. Also, BloodShade9, hold the s key and click on a stack to split it.

i love the dialogue, its very funny. im stuck in catacombs b-2 and b-3, i thought some lady gave me the right key, but some a door is locked in b-2 and i cant get to the other side of b-3... hmmmmm

For those of you complaining about how time-consuming it is to skip dialogues:
Why don't you try, y'know, actually READING them thar wordy things? I assume you HAVE that ability... Maybe you'll be surprised and will actually enjoy it to some degree.
It's a story-based game anyway. If you're going to skip the dialogue, don't bother playing at all.

Only suggestion is to have a way to split item stacks or everybody can use them even if the dont have it in thier inventory

nice game but the dialogs are entirely to long and the jokes aren't funny. obviously you put a lot of work into this though. 3/5.

Great game, but it is way too slow. The "victory" screen shows up for five seconds, and it gets to be a bit much. Also, the characters move really slow when they fight, so that takes a ton more time. I really like the humor in the dialog though, and the game, like I mentioned before, is overall great.

You should put a warning that the teleport will be TOTALLY one-way, that means you will cant go with thr dragon or cambrian. i tought that i could get back. (I was watching Mardek talk with Rohoph and waiting for the plot twist)

I'm having trouble with something - I used to be able to cast aqualung, but now i get this weird undefined message for the element, and i can't cast it. Any tips?

I've just uploaded an updated version (should be marked V1.2.0912K) which fixes most bugs (I think) and should allow people to get the badges if they've finished the game before they were added... BUT only if they load a saved game which ISN'T from the very, very end (that is, at the final screen which asks if you'd like to save), because that counts as a chapter 3 save.

PS. What I meant is I was playing before the badges came out and it doesn't seem to understand previous treasure collections prior to my Mardek Chapter 2 save games.

I love this game, am most of the way through Chapter 2, but the treasure chest box badge doesn't seem to catch that I've collected way more than 20 chests.
