i am a big final fantasy fan, and i can say that this deserves to be called in a list with FF, of course FF is better, but thats natural! u think they created FF with flash, and did it with just ONE man. NO ofcourse not, so i can say, this is one of the best flash games i have ever played!

Counting the Mardek series as a single game (which it really is) this is by far the best game on Kongregate now, RPG or otherwise. The gameplay is deep, there is tons of loot to find, the story is enjoyable, the quality of the graphics and music is great, it's rapidly closing in on 25 to 30 hour territory which is good even by traditional video game standards, and most of all it's a lot of fun. On top of that, you seem to be the only developer who knows what a comma splice is, haha. A professional job all around, and not only do I hope that you win the monthly award here but I truly wish you all the best in what will undoubtedly be a prosperous career in programming and/or game design.

dont let em' knock ya down pseudolonewolf, this game is sooooo awesome and way above the other rpgs i have played on this site, keep up the awesome work =](and if im honest , i think this game is in some ways , better than final fantasy and not a rip off at all, so dont listen to em')

This game is incredibly well made (and the two remakes of the first 2 games as well), even by the standards set by games like Dragon Age and Fable for storytelling, and the character variety and combat is nearly equal. The Dreamstones were an incredible addition as well. Using those to flesh out otherwise ordinary background characters, give them motives and personalities that people can relate to, is something that I don't think ANYONE has done on the level that the dreamstones give. The background story on Deugan and Emela was really interesting, since that story shows why Deugan decided to stay on Moric's ship and fight the Dracelon. Anyway, 50/5! And one thing I want to recommend. Why not convert these to XBox Live Arcade?

Remedy--which claims to cure everything--should cure Berserk. When enemies cast it on your characters (like Elwyen) and it screws up you strategy, it really can't be called a "positive status effect" like Regen or Shield. So Berserk should be curable.

For all those who say mardek is a rip off of final fantasy are overly obsessed haters, that wish they could make as good of a game as this one is. I admit it was a long time before mardek 3 came out but the wait was very much worth it. Pseudolonewolf this is your best game yet, graphics are way better, the story line is awsome, and all around unpredictable. See past all the other who say this game is just a rip off. Seeing that this game has really nothing in common with other games out there. Its longer than most flash games and you can see there has been long hours of work put into this game.

This is an excellent game and I applaud you for uploading it for free. One thing I would like to see in the next game however would be mouse controls. It's too easy to press Z instead of X.

also your music is very alive it has lots of emotion especially "sorrow" that is very sad especcially with the first moonstone i guess its about some1 dieing maybe even deugan? idk but either way it is very emotional aswell as all ur music I think your games have the best music 4 any game i have ever played also gameplay is absolutly stuning i love it 10/5 psudo

@Idivinev: Comnbat fight order is determined by speed, there are several items that increase the speed of your units, look around to fine tune your fight order.

Quick question guys; is there a way to control the order in which your guys fight? I'm thinking that Mardek and the Sssleneickc (snake guy) should attack first because they deal the most damage, but I can't get them to do it.

Hmmm, is it a bug that I open a chest and a griffin attacks me? It did ~400 damage to all members of the party in 1 turn and has 2773 health.

Yeah knocked the lvl 50 Warport-guard down with my lvl 20's. got golden warportpass: "Guard: Please knock yourself out, 'cause obviously our security can't. Go ahead and do whatever terrorist-activities you like!" xD

The Kongregate icon in the top right of the menus page (pressing Enter) doesn't disappear when viewing the Dreamstones menu like it does when viewing the other menus in the Encyclopedia. It's a small thing but it blocks the title of the page.

I'll compliment you for the combination of "find-the-trylobites-so-you'll-have-to-see-all-the-stuff-i-changed-everywhere" and locking certain dungeons instead of making players walk through them again though you didn't have the time to install some fun stuff everywhere.
Also the changes you made for discovery are really fun. For example the miner blocking the way or the LARP'ing Zombie guy :-)

I know the highscores don't matter, but the number of people who obviously hack their way on there is just pathetic. I can't believe nothing is done about it. They should be warned for each offense then banned after 3 or something like that...

Importing save from earlier instalments was GREAT idea Pseudolonewolf! I feared that after importing lv 16 Mardek with champion sword game will become too easy... and what? Nothing! Game is still pretty challenging! Kudos for you. And well... what can I say, I think that this series will become legend in flash RPG history :P
