i dunno why but i love commenting on on this games it's that good also for ppl who have difficulty finding dreamstones here are 2 locations for them dream stone 6 is in the water temple on a bed and im pretty sure it's dream stone 15 but whatever go to the gem mines go under water and you'll find one be careful if your weak though there's lvl 25+ angery cod in there so get mardek air slash too easily one hit them

wow this game is great but any1 notice how theres a huge difficulty jump when u reach the gaurdian of the fire crystal i mean hes 100x harder then everything else lol also...anyone else notice how the fire crystal gaurdian is about 100000000000000x better then the dark crystals? LOL i mean the dog typically goes down in one hit from almost any foe (even at lvl 20)

Wow - that was the impression this game gave me all the time! The challenges were great - speaking of side quests,character diversity and the superbosses! The story itself is just epic. I'm really curious about what is going to happen next ;-)After getting all Badges and a Playtime of 49 hours(Mardek2&3 together) I really have to thank Pseudolonewolf for this gaming experience. In my opinion this game outclasses many RPG's being released for PS3,Wii or similar. So, I'm in a real dilemma right now: on the one hand I want Chapter 4 to be released as fast as possible, but on the other hand I know good games need time! Keep up the good work and please make sure that we can use our Savegames in the next Chapter, as I really want to go on with my items and stuff ;-)

Very nice. I would like to see something like this that stuck with the classic 8- or 16 bit graphics throughout, I've always been a big fan of pixels and RPGs alike. I'm grateful and surprised that someone went to the trouble to make such a thorough game while keeping it relatively free of errors and flaws (programming-wise AND grammar/spelling-wise) and intriguing. Also a nice balance of creativity and allusions. I suppose I'll change the rating to 5/5 in retrospect.

Wow the Mystery Man is Steele?Awesome plot twist... I don't suppose Muriance comes back as well? I love the stroy and plotline. So hilarious! If you don't read the dialogue you really miss half the enjoyment of the Mardek series. I really miss my highly leveled characters from chapter 2. They were bloody level 25 each... This is an awesome game and I look forward to the next.

I'm trying to see if Legion will learn 1000 needles, the happy johnnies' ultimate skill, but they aren't using it. I know about it cause it managed to one-hit KO sharla once. But I fought a three-cactus squad of them, never attacking them ever, and they only used needle-flare. Gah, I wish it was more common

you should've made it harder to get money from chptr 2 i have 15,000 (whtvr the currency is in the game) right off the bat. N ALL MY STUFF WAS WITH DEUGAN AND NOW ITS GNE DX

Thank you for making such an awesome game. I love old school RPGs, and this is a great game to remind me of all the game times and it also created some more. You've done such a great job, I can't wait for the next chapter to be released! This is by far the best RPG on Kongregate, no contest.

Well, the game gave me an eternity fight. playing against a enemy that does no damage on you and give you berserk, then kill your friends so your stuck. The berserk should go away! Still 5/5

Sigh I am in the dark temple and went through a secret passage to fight the molester. But now i cant find my way out of the secret passage...I can only go to the molestor room and a room with a treasure chest....

I think we've finally found the secret love child of Final Fantasy 6 and Earthbound. Pretty awesome, but you'd have gotten more points from me if you ripped off Chrono Trigger too. Chrono Trigger > FF6

@codyr44: hahaha I know right! that's hillarious. I'll admit, I was kinda pissed that I had to start back from my last save, but it was still kind of unexpectedly funny ^^ I'm a little upset that you can't battle them once you get your gold pass, because I would like to at least try later on.

I like the lucky coin, I mastered the skil it gives, so I have a 20% chance of finding an item. I found forests edge by defeating a centaur. :)

Best RPG on Kongregate 5/5. All Mardek2 and Mardek3 badges = 35 hours playtime.
Karnos and Animus aren't that strong with the right strategy. No need for high level chars. Same for solo arena. With the equipment you get from the superbosses, the solo arenas aren't a problem anymore, even with chars below level 20.

but some advise keep the bone mail don't fight the griffen in it or it will use solar flare on you when you go to the dark temple it will help alot and i mean alot

I'm having a problem with the game. When I defeat the Catctus King, I follow the path and open a metal door. After that the game screen just goes black and I can't do anything.

The game keeps deleting my game, every time I go to sleep it seems to get deleted, because I wake up and the file is gone. This is the fourth time that it has happened

Hands down, a masterpiece. 5/5 is an understatement. The chapters keep getting better, AND THERE WILL BE 5 MORE!!
A small tip for some phat stacks of cash: go to the Eastern Glens, and start gathering as many stingers and earwax (eugh) as you can. That's a quick way to build up passive APs, too. When you're satisfied, go to Xantusia and have the blacksmith combine Iron Spears (sold in Xantusia for 500g each), stingers and earwax (eugh again) into a Stingstick, which you can sell back for 5000g each. That's 4500g for every stinger/earwax pair. Not bad IMHO.

BUG REPORT: 1 item I got from a chest, clicked loot all and it didn't show up in inventory... came back and got it again and it did. Another Item was a second reward for saving the priests... didn't get it in my inventory at all, however I did receive the first reward.

Okay, so you can get the chalices now, I flipped out at 10am in the morning after staying up all night. I still think things like that are wrong though, and fixed my rating. I honestly didn't catch the warning for the chalice.

Good lawd, did you script the Fire Guardian to ALWAYS attack Donovan? He's my ONLY hope of beating him. Why, Pseudolonewolf, WHY?! Colon-left parentheses. Who know's, maybe an apostrophe in there for added effect. Yes, indeed, we shall place an apostrophe in there. Or imagine there's one in there, because I'm not typing it again and I'm not going to go add it in there, because then there'd be no point to the sentences following it.
