Oh @deadlygazebo, your comment leads me to wonder:
Since you can obtain all 3 crystals with only 3 points on your warport pass, and then presumably accept Smalls' offer of fast travel back to Goznor (unless that's unavailable if you don't yet have a gold pass?), then is it possible to fight the security demon with just Mardek and Elwyen when travelling to Aeropolis to see the play? This is interesting because this is at a point where you are otherwise unable to fight any battles. Hm... maybe I'll have to play through again and deliberately use the Warport as little as possible, and then maybe I'll see...

So nearly 7 years on from when I first played this game, I've finally completed this masterpiece. Mixed feelings. Happy to have completed it, and fully experienced the game and the story, but feeling kinda sad and empty thinking, "well, this is it..." we're never going to see what was going to happen next. Kinda sad but I respect the developer's decision.

Yknow, I think it's possible to complete the game entirely without EVER obtaining the gold warport pass. Here's how it goes:
0 points: Grab Gloria, Mareador, Elewyn, get the quest from the shaman, do the dream walking cave, take pass to other continent.
1 Point: Start fire temple, grab skull, clear up to guardian. Clear dreamwood, up to the door of earth temple, which you can't open until you get Legion. Talk to the librarian, unlock saul's dungeon. Take pass across again.
2 Points: Do water temple, unlock legion. Take path across
3 points: Do fire temple. Do earth temple. Take warp back to gonzor.
Complete game.

In case you were not aware (and trust me this is quite confusing for almost everyone including myself) priests did sometimes keep snakes as pets in certain desert civilizations, and Snakes CAN be milked for their venom which the can be used as antivenom, paint, and in some cases make up like materials. So no, not everything is a Euphemism for anything..."special". Except for that.

I must say, the collection of references both in music and in normal chat was nice. My two personal favorites were the references to Archfiend Cagnazzo (FF4!!!!) and also Sonny's personal homage. The fact that the Savior's battle theme is a blend of Golden Sun (probably unintentional) and the Fiends of the original FF (more intentional) with a fair amount of Mardek style was simply beautiful. 20/5, on par with the wit of MC, battle variety of EBF, AP system of FFTA and the plot of...uh...No equals actually without comparing it to a different medium. Tip: get Legion BEFORE completing any of the temples. All of the guardians let him get a super strong AoE move (Earthquake, Tsunami and R Inferno) and the only place is Karnos and the Bone Demon. Thunderstorm you can get from an Air temperance. Also, Pseudo, if you decide to release another game on kong you will find that the type of people playing are vastly more willing to give a game what it truly deserves- in your case, a 5.

I have done the sandflow caves then the ship and now am in the dark temple. I haven't been able to find my way out of this maze of doors for a long time. Way too long between shops and I am now out of all healing and mana restorations. I am almost out of phoenix feathers. I am doomed I fear. Lord how I miss my warp magic when underground. I need to warp back to Sslen'ck's town to restock and maybe get some weapon upgrades. :(

Very nice series of games. The one thing I would change is the very loud, very annoying buzzer that sounds when you fail to properly time the attack or defense. I would like to be able to hear the other sounds of the game without that. My neighbors can hear that epic fail buzzer even when they can't hear the rest of the game. Perhaps a shut the buzz up button in any future versions. :)

horrible graphics, dumb and impossible to play. I prefer RPGs like murlock 2 episode 1, they say there is supposed to be more episodes, but unfortunately none were released after the first

He doesn't care about what his fans want he only cares about what he want and this is not something new, if you got to Fig Hunter you will see a lot of game with potential that he abandoned just becouse he didn't like them anymore, the Pseudolonewolf that made MARDEK chapters is gone and the new one is going no where with his non-violent games also Krin the developer of Sonny is on the same path like if you agree

Run number 7 for me now. Too sad Pseudolinewolf decided to focus on non-violent mobile games... I understand his reasoning but he should consider selling the mardek idea to game developers. This way all of us hardcore fans could finish the series. Sadly I have no Idea about programming, storywise i could contribute though since this is exactly my sense of humour (Iknow that's not a compliment when it comes from a german)

@Ketos, I saw on his website that it's available as Taming Dreams but I can't find it in the iPhone app store. Have you found it? I've seen that there's a Taming Dreams on the Android store, but sadly I do not have access to an Android to play it.

@p98oo In order to grind for a high enough level, you need to reach a very high lvl area such as the miasmal citadel. To get there, you will have travelled quite a few times over the ocean, granting you that golden ticket. This makes the security guards unavailable.

I totally didn't realize at first that you can target more than one monster (or party member if you're healing) with a spell. In the targeting mode, use the left arrow for monsters and the right arrow for the party. It will target everyone on that side and it only doubles the mp used for the spell. So much more damage when you only have one water spell user against the fire temple monsters!

Meh, I enjoyed the first two, and I would enjoy this one, except for the fact it feels like pixies are super overpowered. Takes 20 minutes to face one, and only win about 35% of the time. Killed off one of the better characters from ep. 2, and the new ones here are so weak to start.
