People who think this game is like the FF series....It is!!! Kinda like how all Star Wars parodies are REALLY similar to Star Wars. The point is to make something interesting to play but humorous at the same time. So quit whinin' cuz you cannot make a game as awesome as this one. *The official score is now: cool people 35910300.......Haterz 00000000.*

I love the game, 5/5 but just two complaints. I think that the experience system should be a little different. I know it has been the same since MARDEK 1, but in my opinion, it would be better just to evenly split up EXP for a killed enemy (not when you attack but don't kill it). I kind of am a *little* OCD when it comes to my characters being the same level, so... :D The other thing I wanted to say was that the inventory is a little confusing. I think, with spoils, you should be able to choose how many of each thing goes to each person, and that there should really only be one inventory. It gets extremely confusing trying to figure out who has what, and putting it in one inventory for crafting, etc.

If you want to make fast money, just craft poison spears at the blacksmith in Xantusia:
-spears are available for 500 gold at the merchant in the same town, and the other items are not difficult to drop on the monsters
-the poison spear is sold for 6000 gold!!

Here is an extremely helpful tip- If you have a Blood Blade don't use it on undead. It hurts you because it usually hurts the enemies and drains THEIR health, but in doesn't effect them so they just steal YOUR health. I learned that the hard way.

Great game, 5/5. My biggest complaint is about the inventory system. Every character has his/her own inventory, and it's very limited given how many items you end up picking up. This makes crafting extremely annoying, as well as trying to figure out who needs what equipped to master new skills.

if you want the impossible badge there are two ways to do this, do not use only one slot to save your progress, when you go fighting against the king, save in another space, otherwise you'll have to start the game again to conquer the impossible badge, the second option is ---> win the Psychosomatic Exhaustion Badge before finishing the game, this is a fantastic game, I'm not sure how long I will have saved files on my computer until the day I can play Mardek chapter 4,5,6,7,8, this is a big problem for me, I play a lot, and sometimes I need to clear the data stored on my computer to be faster in games with large files.
I do not know what the developer will do about it, maybe do not do anything ... I hope the Kongregate team does not place the badges that depend only quests made in previous chapters, if we have to play everything from the beginning is inhumane.

I see all the top rated comments complaining about haters and it really suprises me, I mean, I've always very much enjoyed these games, so I'm suprised there's even hate for it.
Even though the game is awesome as a whole, I think I like the comedy best, 'It's better because it heals more HP, and has more friends, and listens to more popular music, as well as more sex, oh yes' AWESOME!

This game is one of the most impressive flash games I've ever played if not the best. What's not to like about it? Great music, an entertaining plot, plenty of good humor and over 15 hours of gameplay. I look forward to playing the 4th installment when it comes out

I've beaten this game before and now iI bought some crazy headphones yo play this game and savor the sound but not just the sound but to come back and beat the game and getting every little secret thing ... this is game without a doubt the best FREE game i have played in my entire life!! Shout out to Pseudolonewolf for being by far the best developer ever!!

I originally played this game for the best of 2010 award. But by the time I beat the sun temple, I was hooked. This is a really nice fantasy game. It reminds me of my carefree days playing final fantasy I & II on PS1 .... ah good times. :) Now I gotta play from Chapter 1 (for the story). Overall though I reckon the developer(s) did a great job constructing this game.

My only problem with the game is that you don't learn skills/reactions/whatever unless they are equipped. I understand not being able to use them when they are unequipped, but not using the AP earned in battle to learn a skill from an equipped item...kinda makes me wonder what the point of the double AP skill is. I can't use it and learn any of the skills it would be useful for.

A great game, but it's kind of disappointing that I can't fill my encyclopedia without starting over from halfway through chapter 2 because I didn't meet zach until chap. 3...

a great game 5 / 5, the only fault this game have is to save your progress, I played the two first series and had abilities, items, equipment for Mardek 3, "when I was already well under way" there was a defect and I lost everything, and that not is everything, with the passage of time is very slow the process of saving your progress. I have the latest version of flash, I will finish this epic game
