Oh god, after first games, whic were easy for me, this one is KICKING MY ASS! Difficulty was the only thing which i missed in previous parts, so 5\5 for this one.

There's been people complaing that the character sprites look pixelated... However, there's a simple explation for this: THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE THAT!

noxious bomb on security demon. inflicts confusion and posion. several turns later it uses death on itself and all character level up :) muhahahahahaha

One of my only flaws with this game is that the characters look to pixeley in the world I'm sure your already planning to fix that in chapter 4. Also i hate that after you die you must wait a couple seconds before going back to the menu. But overall great game 5/5 wonderful story, great battling. And also Vara my Mardek is already more than amune to light so he gets healed 30% of the damage done so if there is a light boss It's impossible to lose. That is the only i beat the zombie paladins in the lost monastary.

Why can't I quit battle to menu? Am I missing something or do I always have to reload page and load 22+MB game again? Because when the battle is clearly lost (without possibility to run) and it would take too long to just die, there's no point in wasting time...

(Split comment due to 1000-characters limit, part 1 of 3) This game is generally good, but not flawless. The first flaw is that it hides the mouse every frame (-1 star for that). But the larger flaws is that this game introduces "ultimate equipement", this makes this game unable to introduce beter equipment for the next chapters. First are items that give auto-status-effect, like the yellow fairy and the scarab of protection. Haste means basically double efficiency of a character (attack twice as often), so does scarab of protection (half damage recieved = take twice as long to kill). There exist no better versions of status effects, so therefore they'll always be great items, no matter if it's in chapter 1 or 8.

(Split comment due to 1000-characters limit, part 2 of 3) The elemental resistance are completely flawed too because they give relative reduction, not absolute like the DEF stat. 100% water resistance is in chapter 1 just as effective as in chapter 8. The rainbow disc is the ultimate flaw. Luckly, it's currently unique, but in future chapters you will need to make better items to make users keep refreshing their inventory. Double rainbow disc + rainbow aura lv. 1 = 100% resistance to all elements exept physical, thauma, (can enemies use the "divine" element?) and the element the character is weak against. There does already exist a steel stole to do physical 50% resistance. If you add an 50% physical restance shield, 50% thauma resistance hat and 50% thauma resistance sword, you'll be nearly completely invicible (exept the element you've got the default -20% for, but that will be fixed with rainbow aura lv. 2).

(Split comment due to 1000-characters limit, part 3 of 3) Also note the reactions, we've got physical -10%, -20% and -30%. In case you create a -40%, we'll become imune to physical attacks if we get the reactions right, so that ability cannot be added. But which physical reactions would you add then? Keeping the same reactions for the other 5 chapters. Seriously, you've disigned this like it was the final chapter of the series. My final rating is 4/5 stars (5/5 for the game, -1 star because you hide the mouse every frame), but I guess this will be a lot lower on the next chapters.

Absolutley LOVE the Mardek Series. After I played the first two a year and a half ago, I went to your site every sunday to find out when Mardek 3 was coming out.

Finally completed the impossible achievement. incredible game! It definitely held up to its' name. I may even play through the series again. :) 5/5 and donated! Hope to see a 4th soon!

i enjoy this game a lot the security guards are funny as said by others but i find the dream orbs intriguing and it adds suspence to the game and peoples go to encyclopedia and press dream orbs and it gives you memories of people i will not say who but i know even tho i havent beat the game =D

i'd expect at least 5k people finishing the entire game and beating animus by now but if you look at the badges page this is actually the hardest badge ever in kong because there just isnt alot of hardcore mardek fans (like myself) out there. Apparently i overestimated the amount of fans at the launch of this game but some of the thunder was stolen by Epic War 4 (which isnt even epic compared to the content of this Godlike RPG) and i still cant believe it. I mean i completely the game after over a week (not makin that up because i put away my life for this) and after a LONG month there have barely been any new impossible badge holders. And who ever rated this game lower than a 5/5 is a whiny little b1tch

Pseudolonewolf i am very much in love with your game ive played it for two weeks now. i love your work and i hope that you continue making these games. I even hope that in a few years your games goes big screen. You deserve it :D oh and i still cant beat Chapter 2 ;/ i suck lol

@KarTheToast: Go to your inventory, use Oxyale on all party members(drag it to their portraits), and then go to the end of the pier and hit x. Don't use the save cyrstal after using the Oxyale, because it removes the effect. If it still doesn't work, then it might be a bug.

I just defeat Animus >:) ( With the whole party ALIVE!!)
Tips:
USE all the aether resist that u can ( Animus will cast a lot of aether spells)
DONT use any shield (if u use shields Animus spell Anihilation will kill all party members)
DONT use buff like haste or similars ( Animus will cast Delay and if u dont have enough air resistant will cause major damages)

Pseudolonewolf, my suggestion in this series, I don't know if it's been brought up, the issue of confusing the enemy. I was thrilled to get Addle Gas for Legion, but whenever I confuse the whole enemy team, I never seem to get them to hit themselves or there teammates. I don't know if I'm just extremely unlucky, but out of around a month of playing, I've only seen them hit a teammate once while confused. Then when ever I'm confused, I never attack the enemy. That's just my penny's worth. Love the game, hope ya consider my suggestion, good job, 5/5.

Hey quick question. Okay i got the inventor guy after i first talked to him then i found the shamon woman and went back and he joined me. But here is the problem i didn't recieve a quest from him or anything.

For those stuck on world saviors- I recommend trying to kill their healer, and do it fast. If you can't do it you could try sending them to sleep first. If you don't have legion or can't put them to sleep... then you should get legion and the inventor. The inventor can spray them all to sleep. Don't melee Bernard or melee if you have the song playing that shares damage... or you may get more than you bargined for. I suggest you make sure legion picks up Bernards air spell as only the griffin and hard bosses use it other than him. Bring pheonix dawns.

I have lost a few items mysteriously from my inventory a couple of times after loading a game, which was pretty frustrating. Anyone else encountered this as well?
