Once you just TRAIN the skills and FINISH them before changing, it'll be easier. Also, look at which resistances each item gives, which could lead to healing from damage instead of getting hurt.

Hey, Kakoka, If you want to beat the molestors, flee from all the other battles, save your strength, then pick one character as a healer, and let the others handle whatever attack tactics there are. Also, check the molestor specs while fighting him, and try to find weaknesses. You'll have to kill three of those, and it's not gonna be easy. I wish you the best of luck.

if you've already completed the sun temple, how do you get a moonstone? i need mardek to learn regen but i can't. I looked up how to get moonstone, and it only drops from things in the sun temple. I've already completed it.

For all you people out there who are complaining about the first part of the game, it's not that difficult. If you've ever heard of strategy or maybe even TRAINING, you might not be complaining. Oh yeah, and good luck with karnos... and animus... and the elemental guardians... and the demons... and qualna... and the pixies... and... well... you get the point.

Well, I'd suggest playing the other chapters before this one, because
#1, they're amazing games that add to the storyline
and #2, you can build up all sorts of resistances, such as sleep, poison, curse, etcetera. It makes combat more fun.
I was working through this chapter before, lost all my data(Unrelated reason), and I've been working back up to here. I think playing the 2 before makes a difference.

Well, acote, let me tell you, nothing as ever been able to one shot any of my characters(excluding Sharla the wind mage).
This game was never designed to be rushed by in a breeze. And i assume you do this.Strategy over Levels, strategy over levels...

Fine, saying "combat is very frustrating" gets people up in arms and downrate. If I'm wrong, then what am I doing wrong? From the very start, things can pop out of treasure chests which one-shot your characters, and there are tons of debuffs like confuse and sleep from pixies before you can act. Monsters in the dreamworld are immune to physical and a few magic attacks, drawing those fights to a crawl.

Epic secret:WATER GUARDIAN=EMELA,MYSTERY MAN=STEELE,LONE WOLF=DEUGAN IF YOU READ THE DREAMSTONES YOU PROBABLY SEE IT! KEEP THIS COMMENT ALIVE

@evilspaghetti: the dark man with the eyepatch is Steele from chapter 2, this is harder to notice but if you read the chat when u first encounter him, u know he recognises Mardek, he is weak to lightning and there is also a dreamstone of him

Here's a cool secret:
It's pretty obvious that emela is the water guardian. From chapter 2, she was also a royal guard. If you check the upper rooms of the water temple, there are not one, but two royal guard uniforms. What this is probably suggesting is that Emela actually rescued Deugan after Moric's ship crashed. This evidence is further supported by the appearance of dromas at the bottom of the lake. Just thought this was pretty cool, though it wasn't too hidden. As for a rating of this game, it gets an 11/10.

I have beaten the game once before, but this time, for some reason, I can't get the wretched skull if I talk to the hermit. He won't let me fight the thing. Help?

"Thanks for using our services free of charge, sir. I can't take your Gold Warport Pass out of your grubby little hands due to our policies an' all, but rest assured that if I could, I'd ram it forcefully up your intensely tight but monstrously fat arse. Good day!!!"
That is probably the only good thing about the Gold Warport Pass.

"Gold Warport Pass
PLOT
A special golden-coloured Warport Pass, which you earned due to your Frequent Warping. It allows you to pass through without the bother of buying a ticket or talking to security."
I want to battle the security demons. ;-;

I was, am, and will continue to be blown away by these games! The effort put in to them really shows, and they stand honorably as great RPG's, rivaling Final Fantasy in gameplay. The script, too, is amazing. I never thought I could laugh just by trying to read a book and having it deny me in a clever way!

leveling every character high enough to beat all of the solo arenas for the impossible badge is more time consuming than i imagined when i began this task.

Drag0n, there's something called balance. You're not expected to literally beat the game based on levels. You're meant to have strategy. And the bosses are strong. Big deal. You have versatility.

I was 1 turn away from beating the dreaded Security Demon :( (No lie. He was going to die from the massive damage he takes from Poison.)

I was declared a terrorist by the security guard in warport. In the battle, I used a noxious bomb on him. As a result, he cast Death on himself.

These early bosses are unreal strong, and the level up period is way too long for creeping. This game would be great if you actually got enough exp in 2 hours rather 10 hours of gameplay.

Good one, Pseudolonewolf... Vennie's full name,Vennie Vidi Ae-Vicci... Remove a few letters, and you get Veni, vidi, vici... Latin for "I came, I saw, I conquered".

Protip: If you need to grind exp for a low-level character quickly, sometimes the fastest way is for them to repeatedly hit your highest level character (usually Mardek). Level 10 Meraeador hits level 39 Mardek = 600 exp. Use the yellow fairy's haste to make it go faster. Very helpful for when you need to grind a character you don't use for their tournament.

With 2.9 Million plays and a 4.2 Average, this game is one of the most loved Adventure games of all time and yet...I still can't help but to wonder why the games rating is so low. The first three books in this series is something that I would be happy to pay 20- 30 dollars to buy on a console. The artwork is stunning, the gameplay is superb, and plot line is what ties it all up in a tight bow. Pseudolonewolf remains one of the best flash developers of all time. It may be another 5 years before we see another, but I am willing to wait. I'm always willing to wait.

As one of the owners of the Psychosomatic Exhaustion Badge to be I can tell you this game is worth every single hour spent playing it. No regrets. I'm currently at 90 hours and counting, having completed everything but Sharla/Donovan/Solaar's solo arenas. Big recommendation on this one. I will be donating on Mardek 4 FOR SURE!
