I just finished playing through Mardek 1+2 (10-12 raw playtime), and I can't wait to see what is coming in Chapter 3 xDDDD

This game is the best of the Mardek series so far.If I were to rate this I would rate it 10/5 because it's awesome. And I would also like to share a little tip with you people. When you battle the Bone Dracelon make sure you have Solaar with you. Use the resurrect skill Solaar has on the Bone Dracelon. It will take half of its life away. And to all you people who call this game a rip-off of Final Fantasy, if only you played this game you would realize why so many people like this. Now before any of you make a negative comment about this I suggest you play it first.

i have to admit, you might wanna sell some of your best items just to get a stole from aereopolis :D Mardek has the best strength stole, and he does 2k+ damage against some guardians :D

Holy FFF--give an extra option as warning before the Security Demons gut you with no chance to flee. I'm glad I save compulsively. Getting suddenly killed in an otherwise peaceful town area would be pretty rage inducing if you hadn't saved recently.

ahh... i see :D FirePendent is useful for things XD tip for gueardians: whatever guardian you face, make sure you have the respective pendent(like water guardian, use the WaterPendent) and add the defensive magic skill: M (whatever element) this, not only stops ALL elemental damage, it also doesn't make (whatever element) Inversion Ko you :D (at least, not at full health)

Mardek series are best RPG games I've ever played. I was looking forward for this part for about 1 and half year. It's really great, that you have made it. I wish you good luck with more of your's epic games.

EPIC pokemon reference. and i like the fact you can pretty much get almost any one as an ally if you try hard enough (already have 6 party members not counting mardek)

I love how the three rpgs are so connected, like how Legion was being built in the first two, and how theres a place for a trilobite at the house where Deugan and Mardek made believe they were heroes. You obviously had a very strong idea of where the series was going.

Ok, ignore my question about gems. It's because they stack. You need to split them so you only try to equip one of them.

Pseudo, never stop making games. This one exceeds Mardek 2 in in length, re-playability, depth, girth (never mind that last one) just as Mardek 2 exceeded Mardek. The amount of time and effort you put in is justified in the product you put out.

If you are stuck trying to make the waterbreathing potion, read this:
In the lifewood there is a cave, you have to pass through the dreamrelm to reach it. In that cave there is a serpent that you have to fight in order to acquire a serpent crest. In that cave you will also find treasure chests containing aquamarines and enemies that drop fish scales and (I believe) water essences.

I agree with Das_Pithlit. I spent hours just grinding my party members to be at the same levels. And in the end Mardek was about ten levels above everyone else. If my unused party members had gained some EXP while I didn't use them it would have helped immensely. Many games, like Dragon Age: Origins or whatever keep your party members within about two levels of the MC, perhaps you could implement something like this?

This is an amazing game. I have one suggestion, though. If you don't switch your party members on a regular basis (and sometimes even if you do, because there's so many) some of them will get terribly underlevelled and at some point I just decided on three and kept those. there is other role playing games in which your companions gather experience even when you don't have them with you. they get a lower amount, but they can keep up and don't get too underlevelled if you switch them once in a while. maybe something to consider for the next chapter?

This game is difforent... its funny just to talk to all the people and see all the random stuff they have to say, the odd item discriptions, and the things like the 60k health security demon are fun... nice game :D

Byere, and anyone else who can't equip gems as accessories. I've ran into that once, they didn't get equipped cause i had more than 1 in the same stack. Hold S to split, have only one in hand, then it should work.

Awesome game in almost every way. Having played all the old SNES games this is based from, I'm laughing my ass off almost constantly. Biggest annoyance: Not being able to tell who can use what items before purchasing. Also, I need 8 monster fangs for Legion's saw arm but they're a rare drop from rare monsters and no one sells them that I can find.

I agree with Irix... button customization would be nice. I personally prefer to use WASD and the mouse for top-down games like this.

Ok. You don't have to pay for this game. You do for final fantasy games. GET OVER IT. If you hate this game, stop playing it, it's your fault that YOU think that this game is so bad.

First, wow, what a great game. There is only one problem. It's extremely slow on my pc. I have tried different browsers, have the newest flash and nothing running on the background, but still it's realy slow. Any suggestions how to fix that? Thanks

I dunno if the pixie is supposed to piss people off or anything but god that thing is FRIKKEN ANNOYING! No spells that anyone on my party can learn except for vehrn, since he has light, but his attack is melee, and the damn pixie has 60% Evade so..seriously?! I attacked with ever member for about 5 time (20 attacks) They all missed. I might be bad at the mardek series, but I can seriously see rigged when it's there.

Maybe it's because I haven't gotten far enough, but I have to ask. I have Topaz and Moonstones on me... yet for some reason, despite the accessory slot going blue to say it can be equipped, it won't let me equip it to Mardek, Sharla or Donovan... Yet FireOpals and Amethyst equips to them all.
That a bug, or can other characters equip Moonstones/Topaz? (Or do I have to do something with them like make them into a ring or so before I can equip them?
