Almost 40 hours playing time now with 1 and 2 included and im about halfway through this one. Amazing game, with the amount of detail put in it sort of makes me miss what games used to be =/ hats off to you

This game is awesome! The loading screen kind of confuses me because I can't type in the "last saved", or "last loaded." I have no idea if it's because I'm incompetent or my computer is.

Well, I have no idea how this happened, but... my water essences have disappeared from my inventory. I have since checked every store and my item storage, they are not there. So first and foremost, I'm assuming this is some kind of bug. Second, without these I cannot proceed through the game, causing... problems. Third, does anyone know where to get water essences from aside from stores and water elementals (If such a foe exists)?
And a suggestion to everyone: Make a backup so you don't end up stuck like I am.

I got to the warp zone security and though the question was funny.. so I picked one of the crazy answers. OMG! LVL 50 DEMON! I died.

I really liked the game, and the fact that it is 2-D I think adds to it. I love the way you can learn new skills by using different items! I have only have one criticism and that is the lack of a real help section. For example, I still don't know how to use gemstones! I see the ability and who can learn it but if I try to put it in an accessory slot it won't go. What's the deal with the gemstones??

Great game. Not much to complain about. I don't understand the "fire - 50%" reaction as opposed to the "Resist Water" passive found in one of the second chapter, but it's still quite amazing.
One suggestion I was thinking though... waiting is basically pointless in the game, as you can find something to gain AP on in most cases, or just spam a move to get thru the battle for passive AP. In order to introduce a boost to waiting, you could add abilities that gain AP by waiting, possibly patience oriented abilites, such as improvement in reaction time span or a boost in critical hit, by 'studying the enemy's weak spots while waiting.' Just a thought.

Pseudolonewolf, I thought it was a difficult thing for you topping the standards you have set for yourself with Mardek I and II. I thought wrong. Clearly what you have on hand is a winner that is single-handedly responsible for the destruction of a great many productive hours belonging to a growing army of fans. Big game publishers these days should take a leaf out of your notebook. The point to a game is that it should first and foremost, beyond all other considerations, ENTERTAIN. Failing to do that, means that the game is just a poorly designed one. Even as I type this comment, I'm anxiously waiting for the game to load up on screen; something that I have not felt or done in ages since I was a kid. It would appear that your sacrificed design hours were not in vain. In a nutshell? Well done.

Lol the zombie guarding the sewers is named Laddy, and he says that his role is that hes a zombie and wakes up on a boat with a blind guy with a scroll in his hand...
What a connection to Sonny...

wow. so far i'm in love with this chapter. It was well worth the wait and i laughed so hard at the warping terminal when the security check asked if Mardek was a terrorist then proceeded to attack him because i answered "i can be whatever you want me to be"

The beastiary seems bugged for me, it refuses to register mob kills alot (for normal mobs this isn't a prob as you'll just encounter more of that kind later on) but for bosses it kinda is, seeing i want to complete the list. fighting the same Trilobite Warrior for the 5th time now and it still doesn't register i killed it.

I'd like to report a bug, every few rimes I save it says that the save is from another chapter and everything else says undefined.
Any help would be appreciated.

Whoops. Spawned a security demon 1st time I passed through the warport. It killed himself shortly after being confused though, good for me!
This game is truly amazing, an art and gaming masterpiece, and the very best RPG you can find in flash format. Having only played 10 hours of it, I can say it has made me laugh and cry, and has gotten me completely focused and hooked up to it, something no other game (including PS and wii games) has achieved. 5/5, and i'm expecting even more (if that's possible?) from chapter 4.

This game is really fun! It's not too easy, nor is it too hard. I haven't gotten far yet, but I'm already loving it and I'm sure it will live up to my expectations! But now, I'm going to play the first 2 games to get the storyline. Thanks Pseudolonewolf for this awesome game, I've really missed good games in this genre.

Hey Pseudo, it would be great if we could compare an item vs ALL party members, instead of having to move an item from inventory to inventory, trying to see who has mastered what. Especially since you have enough skills that one forgets who has mastered what =).

Man the Water Temple is annoying, but I don't hate it, I give it props for being a really good puzzle, what a challenge, and just beat the temple boss, got lucky and poisened it, it took 800 every turn and it took two turns per turn so 1600 every round, it was awesome!

my good friend you have made my day (or night depending on how you look at it) wait no it's past 12am, so day, yes day, erm what was i going to say. oh yeah. the game graphics at first made me cynical on to how the rest of the game would play but after the first few minutes i decided it gave the game a wonderfull retro feel. you obviously worked hard on this as there is such a large amount of detail which is always a good thing. the controls work well and the battle animations are wonderfully distracting with all the prety colors and such. the menus are rendered nicely giving it a smooth feeling. all in all i say well done and that you are a service to the craft of making flash.

One of the best RPG game I've ever played it's clear how much effort it has on it and I sincerily hope I can play all the faulting chapters. We needed someone with this kind of pasion for RPG games.

Great series of games. I'm sort of torn on removing A,S,D in favor of the bar when going for Reactions though. A,S,D I feel is more challenging than the bar.
Maybe an option to choose between A,S,D and Bar in future massive updates?
Other than that, keep up the great work. 5/5

I love the game but have one thing to gripe about. Combat is a little slow. Their movement and the time it takes to attack could; and should be faster. It's only a few seconds wasted but in time those few seconds every battle adds up. Other than that everything is simply perfection.

i can see all the hard work that has been put in to this game i've been playing all chapters and there are endless possibilities :D this is an awesome series keep it up dude

only problems are things mouse it's gets a little awkward when i use it, for example; when selling it's weird how you click it then drag it to the sell slot then if you have more then one you want to sell you need to go and use the arrow keys then you need to hit the "x" key. it just feels like a little too much, even if you just add the ability to sell via shift+click or right click, then it would make a lot easier, but still great game 4/5

A trick for dealing with bosses such as the World Saviours. (You must first have Legion in your party for this to work) Go to the dream realm (doesn't matter where you go) and get into random fights until you spot i think it's a Whimsical Flame. Then wait for it to use spirit nova (probably more chance of it using it on Legion if you have only him and Mardek in your active party) on Legion and it should say that Spirit Nova is learnt. Now the spell gets rid of half of the health that the opponent has and the only cases i know where it doesn't work is when fighting the Guardians but they're easy enough with the right equipment and level. This spell is espcially useful when fighting the World Saviours because if you manage to hit Aalia with it before she casts M.Shield it and attack with another spell she casts Cura instead of buffing the party and the heal doesn't do as much to recover the lost HP.
